Abstract

As the interest of local informatization is getting more important in our society, the importance of local informatization is increasing. In spite of our efforts to develop local informatization in formally local information, there remains incredulity.The purpose of this study was to provide an alternative approach to local information in order to advance its effectiveness. First, we analyzed the objectives, contents, and methods of current local information implemented by formal as well as in-formal situation. Second, reviewed the changes of local information paradigm from once to local information age one. Third, the problems and limitations of previous local informatization in the process were specialized. Forth, alternative approaches by applying local information were provided to utilized the effectiveness of local information. Finally, the strategies of alternative approach were suggested for future local informatization.
