68혁명운동과 노동운동 : 반권위주의적 탈물질주의의 교훈과 노동운동의 전망

68혁명운동이 주목한 것은 사회주의뿐 아니라, 가부장적 권위주의, 인간과 문명의 권위주의, 관료적 권위주의, 강대국의 권위주의 및 진화론적 권위주의라는 제반 권위주의적 현상을 비판하는 탈물질주의적 사고였다. 그러나 68혁명운동 당시나 가까운 시기에 사회주의와 탈물질주의가 바로 결합하지는 못했다. 기성 노조들은 현장 노동자들의 토대민주주의 주장에 마지못해 공감하기는 했으나 실질적인 민주주의의 정착으로 나아가지 못했으며, 현장 노동자들의 주장도 관료적 권위주의에 머물러 탈물질주의적 성찰로 발전하지 못했다. 그러나 1980년대 이후 신자유주의가 팽창하는 시기는 물질주의 가치가 다시 회복되는 시대가 되었다. 68혁명운동의 노동운동사적 의미는 계급모순을 타파하는 동시에 반권위주의적·탈물질주의 가치를 추구하는 탈물질주의적 좌파를 형성하는 계기를 제공했다는 점이다.
Abstract
The revolutionary movement of 1968 has not payed attention only to socialism. But it has attention also to the post-materialistic thinking that criticizes such authoritarian phenomena as patriarchal, human and civilizational, bureaucratic, imperial and evolutionary authoritarianism. Socialism and postmaterialism had nevertheless could be combined in the revolutionary time of 1968 and even in a short time. The existing trade unions were driven to comply with the basis democratic demands of the rank and file, but could not develop it into real democracy. Neither were the demands of the rank and file the complete postmaterialistic reflection getting over the antibureaucratism. But since 1980s the neoliberalism has expanded and therefore the material virtue has been recovered. The significance of the revolutionary movement of 1968 in the historical light of the labor movement lies in the point: it has provided the moment at which both class contradiction and authoritarian materialistic contradiction can be concurrently dissolved.
