본 소아청소년정신의학 분야의 특집에서는 지금까지 국내외적으로 과거에서 지금까지 행해져 온 소아청소년정신장애 영역에서 뇌과학적 접근의 최신지견에 대하여 1) 소아청소년 정신장애의 동물모델 연구, 2) 소아청소년정신과 영역에서의 분자유전학적, 약물유전학 연구의 최신지견, 3) 소아청소년 정신장애에서 뇌영상 연구의 최신지견 4) 소아청소년정신과 영역의 임상정신약물 연구의 현재와 미래라는 주제로 세분화해서 각각 살펴보고자 하였다.
Abstract
Today, one in 10 children and adolescents suffers from mental illness severe enough to result in significant functional impairment. Children and adolescents with mental disorders are at much greater risk for dropping out of school and suffering long-term impairments. There are growing interest to explore the neurobiological etiology of child and adolescent psychiatric disorder. So, here we will provide recent advances in neuroscientific approach to the research in child and adolescent psychiatry; 1) Animal Model Study in Child and Adolescent Psychiatric disorder, 2) Latest Updates on Molecular Genetics and Pharmacogenomic Study in Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Field 3) An update on Neuroimaging Study in Child and Adolescent Psychiatric disorder, 4) The Present and Future on Clinical Neuropsychopharmacology in Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Field.
