대학 수업에서 학습자 질문저해요인 척도 타당화 연구

초록

본 연구는 대학 수업에서 학습자의 질문행동이 저해되는 이유를 경험적으로 확인하고자 하는 것이 주된 목적이다. 이를 위해서 우선, 93명의 대학생과 2명의 교수자를 대상으로 질적자료를 수집하였고, 수집된 질적자료를 바탕으로 자기보고식 척도를 개발하여 대학생 240명을 대상으로 예비조사를 실시하였다. 예비조사 자료를 통해 탐색적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 학습자의 질문저해요인은 학습자 내적요인으로 학습자의 ‘인지적 특성, 정의적 특성, 사회-관계적 특성, 인식론적 신념’과 학습자 외적요인으로 ‘교수자 성향 특성, 교수자 반응 특성, 수업 체제 특성’의 7요인으로 구성되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 예비조사 결과를 바탕으로 본조사를 실시하여 확인적 요인분석을 통해 요인 구조를 확인하였다. 이와 같은 본 연구결과는 학습자 질문을 촉진하는 환경을 조성하는데 있어서 실질적인 지침을 제공해줄 수 있을 것이다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore learners’ questioning hesitation factors during college lectures. In order to reach this objective, this study collected qualitative data of ninety-three college students and two professors. Based on this data, this study developed a self-reporting scale for two hundred and forty college students to do a preliminary survey. As a result of the exploratory factor analysis, based on the data of the preliminary survey, this study discovered that the factors of learners’ hesitation were composed of internal and external factors. The internal factors were cognitive quality, affective quality, socio-relational quality, and epistemological belief. The external factors were the professors’ tendency, reaction, and the lecture structure. This study confirmed the factors based on the main survey data and the confirmatory factor analysis. The study results can therefore suggest a useful way to set an environment to promote learners' questions.
