본 연구는 지역농협의 사업부를 대상으로 경영성과에 영향을 미치는 경영자원의 속성이 무엇이며, 경영자원의 속성 간의 상호작용이 경영성과에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 분석함으로써 자원기반관점에 근거하여 지역농협 사업부의 성과제고를 위해 어떤 노력이 필요한지에 대한 실무적인 시사점을 찾는 데에 목적을 두었다. 경영자원의 속성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 분석결과에 의하면, 경영자원의 보유수준과 경영자원의 활용도는 경영성과에 유의한 영향을 미쳤지만, 경영자원의 가치는 경영성과에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 경영자원의 보유수준과 경영자원의 가치 간의 상호작용은 경영성과에 부(-)의 영향을 미쳤으며, 경영자원의 가치와 경영자원의 활용도 간의 상호작용과 경영자원의 활용도와 경영자원의 보유수준 간의 상호작용은 경영성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 이와 같이 본 연구는 어느 한 가지 자원속성이 경영성과에 단독으로 영향을 미치기 보다는 다른 자원속성과 결합될 때 보다 유의미한 영향을 미친다는 사실을 실증적으로 확인했다는 점에서 의의를 찾을 수 있다.
Abstract
This study applied resource-based view to the management of Regional Agricultural Cooperatives. It investigated the effects of resource attributes on the performances of business units in Regional Agricultural Cooperatives. Resource level, resource value, and resource leverage were used as the resource attributes and it was argued that the attributes would affect managerial performance in positive ways. The empirical results showed resource level and resource leverage significantly affected managerial performance, but resource value did not affect managerial performance. Interaction between resource level and resource value negatively affected managerial performance. Interactions between resource value and resource leverage and between resource leverage and resource level positively affected managerial performance. The implication of the study is that it was empirically verified that resource attribute affected the performance of business units when it was combined with another rather than alone.
