모-자 치료놀이를 적용한 사회적 유능성 프로그램의 효과 연구 : 또래관계가 어려운 초등 1학년 아동을 대상으로

초록

본 연구는 또래 관계가 어려운 아동들에게 아동중심의 사회성 증진 프로그램에 모-자 치료놀이 프로그램을 결합한 포괄적인 사회적 유능성 증진 프로그램을 실시하여 그 효과를 검증한 임상연구 보고서이다. 본 연구의 프로그램은 또래관계가 어려운 초등 1학년 아동 4명을 대상으로 16주 동안 매주 1회 90분간 3명의 중재교사에 의해 진행되었다. 프로그램 효과는 프로그램 사전, 사후에 어머니의 보고와 프로그램 실시 중 훈련된 4명의 관찰자들을 통해 얻은 양적, 질적 자료를 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과, 아동에 따라 다소 차이는 있으나 정서조절과 대인문제 해결전략 및 기초 사회/의사소통 기술과 같은 아동의 중재목표는 대부분 질적․양적인 면에서 긍정적으로 변화되었고, 어머니가 지각한 아동의 사회적 유능성도 긍정적으로 변화되었다. 따라서 모-자 치료놀이를 적용한 사회적 유능성 프로그램은 아동의 사회적 유능성을 증진시키는데 효과적이었다.

Abstract

The study examined the effects of a social competence program combined with a mother-child theraplay program on enhancing children's social competence. The subjects were 4, 1st grade children who were poorly accepted by peers. The program was implemented for 90 minutes every 16 weeks by 3 intervenients. The qualitative and quantitative data obtained through observation of intervention activities for 16 sessions by 4 trained observers and reports of mothers at the pre- and post-program were analyzed. Each of the children showed positive changes in objective behaviors, like participating in group activities, interacting with peers, following directions of teachers and dealing with conflict with peers, as well as improvement of mother-child relationship. It concluded that the social competence program was effective to enhance children's social competence.
