부모-자녀 놀이치료를 통한 유아의 가정내 대인적 행동문제 감소에 관한 연구

초록

본 연구는 모-자관계와 형제관계에서의 대인적 행동문제를 가진 유아와 그의 어머니 3쌍을 대상으로 부모-자녀 놀이치료를 실시하여 어머니의 양육태도와 공감적 이해의 긍정적인 변화 및 유아의 행동문제 감소를 검증한 임상연구 보고서이다. 부모-자녀 놀이치료 프로그램은 10주 동안 매주 1회 120분간 사례마다 시기를 달리하여 놀이치료사가 실시하였다. 프로그램 사전, 사후에 어머니가 응답한 질문지와 사전, 중간Ⅰ, 중간Ⅱ, 사후의 네 시점에서 녹화한 자료를 분석하여 프로그램의 효과를 알아보았다. 연구결과 첫째, 부모-자녀 놀이치료 프로그램을 통하여 어머니의 양육태도의 온정 점수는 높아지고 통제 점수는 낮아졌으며, 공감적 이해 능력의 점수는 증가하였다. 둘째, 어머니가 인식하는 유아의 가정내 대인적 행동문제 수준 및 행동문제의 빈도와 지속시간이 감소되었다. 따라서 본 부모-자녀 놀이치료 프로그램은 어머니의 양육자로서의 역량을 향상시킴으로써 유아의 가정내 대인적 행동문제를 감소시키는 효과적인 프로그램이라 할 수 있다.

Abstract

The study examined whether a filial therapy program for young children wit interpersonal behavioral problems in mother-child relationship and sibling relationship decreased the problems through enhancing mothers' child rearing attitudes and empathic understanding of their children. The subjects were three pairs of young boys and their mothers referred to Child Intervention and Counseling Center. The program consisted of 4 courses, like parent education, feedback, play therapy sessions by mothers and evaluation course and implemented ten 2-hour weekly sessions for each pairs at different periods by a play therapist, one of researchers. Data were gathered by Child Rearing Scale, Measurement of Empathy in Adult-Child Interaction, Filial Problem Checklist, Observation Sheet for Behavior Problems and video-taping of interpersonal behavioral problems in home at 4 evaluation periods, pre-, mid-(1), mid-(2) & post-program. The results revealed that the mothers showed positive changes in the score of child rearing attitudes and empathic understanding, and recognized their children's interpersonal behavioral problems were decreased over 4 evaluation periods. The frequency and duration time of each child's main behavior problems were also decreased in spite of individual differences. It concluded that the filial therapy program was effective to reduce young children's interpersonal behavioral problems by empowering mothers to be more efficient care-givers.
