본 연구는 한국판 환경지원척도의 타당도와 신뢰도를 밝히는 것이다. 타당도 조사는 환경지원척도(TOES)의 문항반응 타당도, 환경(피험자)반응 타당도, 문항들의 상대적 난이도, 문항들의 분리값에 의해 조사하였다. 신뢰도는 평정자간 신뢰도, 환경지원척도(TOES)의 환경 분리값, 문항오차측정치로 조사하였다. 연구도구인 환경지원척도(TOES)는 모든 아동(장애아동, 일반아동)의 놀이 환경을 진단하는 도구로 양육환경과 교육환경이 지원요소로 혹은 위험요소로 작용하는지를 진단 할 수 있다. 본 연구의 연구대상은 6개월에서 14세까지의 장애아동 122명, 일반아동 180명 총302명이 참여하였고 연구절차는 대상모집의 단계, 놀이환경 관찰단계, 평정자 훈련 및 평정실시 단계에 의하였다. 놀이환경 관찰은 놀이자가 자유놀이 하는 실내놀이 15분 혹은 실외놀이 15분 동안 비디오 촬영하였다. 자료분석은 환경지원척도에서 얻어진 원점수를 중심으로 타당도와 신뢰도를 조사하기 위해 Rasch analysis 프로그램을 사용하였다. 본 연구결과 한국판 환경지원척도 문항반응타당도는 17개 문항 중 4문항이 Rasch측정모델에서 벗어나서 76%의 적합도를 보여 Rasch측정모델의 적합도 수용범위에 미치지 못하였다. 피험자 반응타당도는 Rasch모델에 96%의 적합도를 보임으로서 Rasch모델의 수용범위에 해당되었다. 내적 평정자간 신뢰도는 100%를 보였다. 이와 같은 결과에 의거하여 환경지원척도의 문항반응 타당도를 제외한 환경반응 타당도 및 신뢰도가 입증되었다. 문항반응타당도 결과 Rasch측정모델에서 벗어난 4개 문항에 대해서는 한국아동에 적절하도록 문항 수정․ 보완 후 재검증을 위한 후속연구가 필요하다.
Abstract
This research intends to clarify validity and reliability of Korea-Test of Environment Supportiveness (K-TOES). Validity was examined through the item response validity of TOES, the environment response validity of TOES, the relative difficulty of items, and the item separation. Reliability was examined through the inter-rater reliability, the environment separation of TOES, and the item error estimates. TOES assessment the supportive environment and the nonsupportive environment of play. Participants included 122 children with disabilities and 180 typically developing children between 6 months ～ 14 years. For the observation of play environment, this study videotaped the participants' free play for 15 minutes respectively. Data went through Rasch analysis, based on the raw data of TOES. As a result of the study, in relation to the item response validity of TOES, fit statistics of 13 of 17 items (76%) fell within acceptable limits. This fit is less than the desired 95% fit to the Rasch model. The participants' environment response validity fit Rasch model by 96%, which met with the acceptable range. Inter-rater reliability was 100%. This study proved the environment response validity and the reliability of TOES, except for the item response validity. In relation to the four items that didn't fit Rasch model, they will have to be amended and complemented suitably for Korean children, and follow-up studies should be conducted for re-proving.
