국내 ADHD청소년에 대한 연구 동향 및 중재 방향

본 연구는 2001년부터 2011년까지의 ADHD청소년 관련 국내 연구를 중심으로 연구 동향을 분석하여 향후 중재 방향에 대한 조명과 중재연구를 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 선정기준에 따라 국내 ADHD청소년 관련 학위논문과 한국연구재단 등재(후)지로 지정된 연구 47편을 대상으로 연도별 논문 수, 연구의 유형, 연구의 대상, 연구의 주제를 분석하였고, 그 중 실험연구 및 사례연구 17편을 대상으로 중재 전략, 중재 기간 및 중재연구에서의 치료적 요인을 분석하였다. 분석 결과 2001년 1편의 연구를 시작으로 2011년에는 7편의 연구논문이 발표되었고, 연구 유형은 조사연구가 47%로서 가장 많았으며, 대부분 중학생을 대상으로 이루어진 것으로 나타났다. 연구 주제는 정서․행동 특성이 가장 높은 비율을 차지하였고, 이 중 ADHD 기본 특성은 27%, 정서적 특성은 29%로 나타났다. 중재 전략은 체육을 활용한 접근이 가장 많았으며, 체육을 비롯한 미술치료, 음악 관련 프로그램 등은 사례연구에서, 인지행동, 학업관련, 약물은 실험연구에서 주로 다루고 있었다. 중재 기간은 대부분 11∼20회기로 이루어졌으며 31회기 이상의 회기는 모두 사례연구에 포함돼 있었다. 중재연구의 주요 치료적 요인은 33%를 차지한 문제 정의 및 변화로서, 주로 행동수정을 통한 훈련과 자기행동을 평가하고 재인식하여 자신을 조절해나가는 것이 주요인으로 작용한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 중심으로 향후 연구의 방향 및 중재연구에 대한 제안을 제시하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the research trend of ADHD in adolescence in the journal articles published from 2001 to 2011 in Korea to provide the basic data for further research of intervention study and to shed light on the direction of intervention. Based on 47 articles related to ADHD in adolescence in the KRF registered(proposed) journals, number of articles per year, type of research, and subject were analyzed. Among those, the therapeutic factors in the strategies and the period of intervention were analyzed based on 17 experimental researches and case studies. The major findings of this study were as follows: The number of articles increased from 1 article in 2001 to 7 in 2011. The research study comprised a large proportion of 47% in the research type and was mainly conducted to middle school students. As for the subject, emotional-behavioral traits ranked top; 27% of them were ADHD basic traits and 29% emotional traits. Strategy of intervention using exercise was dominant. Case studies mainly included exercise program, art therapy or music program, while experimental studies usually included cognitive behavior, academic program or medication program. The intervention usually consists of 11 to 20 sessions. Interventions with more than 31 sessions were found in case studies. 33% of therapeutic factor of the invention studies were problem definition and change, and it showed that training through the behavior modification, evaluating oneself, having a new understanding and controlling oneself acted as the crucial factor. Based on the results, the study suggested further research direction and intervention study.
