본 연구는 유아기에 이미 장애진단을 받은 2명의 유아를 대상으로 그들이 나타내는 문제행동의 기능을 평가하고 그에 따른 중재의 효과를 알아보고자 수행되었다. 문제행동 기능평가는 간접 및 직접평가법을 이용하여 자료수집을 하였고 그에 근거하여 반전설계를 이용하여 기능분석을 실시하였다. 기능분석 결과에 따른 행동중재계획의 효과를 알아보기 위한 실험은 대상자간 중다기초선설계를 적용하였다. 중재계획의 실행 결과 대상유아 A, B가 모두 중재와 더불어 즉각적인 행동변화를 보였고, 단계별 중복률은 0%였으며 단계간 평균도 뚜렷한 감소세를 나타냈다. 이러한 행동변화는 중재가 종료된 후에도 유지되었고, 장소와 교사에 대한 일반화 절차에서도 행동수준이 기초선기간보다 현저히 감소된 상태로 나타났다. 특히 대상유아 2명 모두 중재가 개시됨에 따라 뚜렷한 행동변화가 나타났으므로 기능평가를 통한 행동중재가 시각 및 뇌병변장애를 가진 유아의 문제행동 감소에 효과를 나타낸 것으로 볼 수 있다.
Abstract
In this study, functional assessment and PBS (positive behavior support) were conducted with two children with disabilities. This study was conducted by their parents, teachers and therapists and investigated the generalization and maintenance of improvements in problem behavior. This study was a single-subject research design, with a multiple baseline design across subjects. The methods of intervention were multi- element-based interventions. Teachers at G-Kindergarten applied the interventions during the ten minutes of their morning meeting hours. The interventions were composing of a total of 40 sessions including five sessions of baseline. After two weeks completion of all interventions, five sessions examined for the maintenance effect. Three follow-up sessions were also conducted to examine the generalization. The results of this study follow: First, PBS was effective for decreasing problem behavior of the children with disabilities. Second, Decreased problem behavior following PBS intervention were maintained and generalized after teachers’ interventions were completed. The results of the study clearly demonstrate that PBS decreased problem behavior of the student with disabilities, and was effective in the generalization and maintenance of the benefits.
