확인적 요인분석을 활용한 K-WISC-Ⅳ 보충소검사의 심리측정적 대체가능성 검증

초록

이 연구의 목적은 다중모형비교절차를 이용하여 한국 웩슬러 아동용 지능검사 4판(K-WISC-Ⅳ)에 있는 보충소검사의 심리측정적 대체가능성을 검토하는데 있다. K-WISC-Ⅳ는 언어이해, 지각추론, 작업기억, 처리속도 등의 4개의 지표를 중심으로 10개의 주요소검사와 5개의 보충소검사로 구성되어 있으며, 각 지표별로 보충소검사와 주요소검사간 대체가능성이 다른 것으로 나타났다. 언어이해지표에서는 [상식] 보충소검사는 [공통성] 주요소검사와 심리측정적으로 완벽한 호환성을 가지고 있으며, [단어추리] 보충소검사는 [어휘] 주요소검사와는 심리측정적으로 완벽하게 호환되는 것으로 나타났다. 지각추론지표의 경우, [빠진곳찾기] 보충소검사는 [토막짜기] 주요소검사와 심리측정적으로 완벽한 호환성이 있고, 동일한 구인을 측정하고 있으므로 대체사용이 가능한 것으로 나타났다. 작업기억지표의 경우에는 [산수] 보충소검사가 [숫자]나 [순차연결] 주요소검사를 대체할 수 없는 것으로 나타났고, 처리속도지표의 [선택] 보충소검사도 주요소검사들을 적절히 대체할 수 있는 심리측정적 근거를 가지지 못한 것으로 나타났다.

Abstract

This research was designed to determine the psychometric evidence for replacing core subtests with supplementary subtests of Korean Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, Fourth Edition (K-WAIS-Ⅳ) by using multiple models comparison of confirmatory factor analysis. WISC-Ⅳ (and K-WISC-Ⅳ) was markedly different from its predecessors in terms of item content and structure. The latest revision includes five new subtests, eliminates the VIQ and PIQ, and provides factor-based indexes in addition to a FSIQ. The 10 core subtests are grouped into four domain index (Verbal Comprehension, Perceptual Reasoning, Working Memory, Processing Speed). And there are five supplemental subtests that may be substituted, if necessary, for one or more of the core subtests. There are significant substitutabilities between (a) ‘Similarities’ core subtest and ‘Information’ supplementary subtest, (b) ‘Comprehension’ core subtest and ‘Word Reasoning’ supplementary subtest of Verbal Comprehension. And there is complete substitutability between ‘Block Design’ core subtest and ‘Picture Completion’ supplementary subtest of Perceptual Reasoning. However, the psychometric evidence does not support the substitutability of supplementary subtests of Working Memory and Processing Speed.
