중국인 유학생들의 스마트폰, 소통, 그리고 한국어 실력

국내에 거주하고 있는 중국인 유학생들의 스마트폰에 대한 이용도가 그들의 한국 적응에 어떠한 역할을 하는지를 검증하고자 서베이를 실시하여 분석했다. 과연 중국인 유학생들이 스마트폰을 통해 한국 미디어를 이용하는 것이 한국인들과의 소통에 도움이되고, 결국 한국어 실력 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는지, 그리고 스마트폰을 통해 중국 미디어를 이용할수록, 중국인들과의 소통을 유지하여 결국 한국어 실력 향상을 저해하는지 분석했다. 구조 방정식 모형을 이용하여 변인들 간의 직접 효과 및 간접 효과를확인하여 중국인 유학생들이 스마트폰을 통해 한국 미디어를 이용할수록, 한국인들과의소통이 활발해지면서, 한국어 실력이 향상되는 점을 발견했다. 동시에 중국 미디어를이용할수록, 국내에 거주하는 중국인들과의 소통이 활발해지는 것이 발견되었으나, 그들의 한국어 실력 하락에는 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 밝혀졌다.
Abstract
In order for Chinese students in Korea to test how the usage of the smart phone affects on their adaptation in Korea and their Korean skills, this study performed a survey targeting Chinese students in Korea. The purpose of this study was to test how the Korean mass media usage through a smart phone influenced on their interpersonal communication with Koreans, and finally affected on their Korean skills. Simultaneously, the usage of Chinese media through a smart phone urge for them to keep touching Chinese people in China and finally disturb their Korean skill development. Using a structural equation modeling, the direct effects as well as the indirect effects among latent variables were tested. Finally, it was revealed that the more Chinese students use Korean media through smart phone, the more they tend to keep touching Koreans. It causes them to speak Korean fluently. Also it was revealed that the more Chinese students use Chinese media, the more they get along Chinese people which cause them to disturb the development of Korean skills.
