한국형 아동용 감정표현불능증 척도의 타당화 연구

초록

본 연구는 한국형 아동용 감정표현불능증 척도를 타당화하기 위해 이루어졌다. 이를 위해 Rieffe, Oosterveld, 그리고 Terwogt(2006)가 성인용 감정표현불능증척도(TAS-20)를 아동용으로 제작한 척도인 Alexithymia Questionnaire for Children(AQC)을 한국어로 번안하여 사용하였다. 초등학교 5, 6학년 표본을 대상으로 그 타당도와 신뢰도를 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 수도권 소재의 초등학교에 재학 중인 5, 6학년 초등학생으로, 남학생 87명, 여학생 115명이었고, 5학년 51명, 6학년 151명이었다. 측정 결과 한국형 아동용 감정표현불능증 척도의 내적 일치도는 .81이었으며, 하위 요인 별 내적 합치도는 요인 1 감정 확인의 어려움의 .73, 요인 2 감정 표현의 어려움 .73, 요인 3 외부 지향적 사고는 .51로 나타났다. 요인 분석을 실시한 결과 3개의 하위 요인이 확인되었으며, 확인적 요인분석에서 적절한 적합도를 보였다. 또한 준거-관련 타당도를 알아보기 위해 정서표현성, 우울, 신체화 증상과의 상관을 살펴보았을 때 유의미한 상관을 보여 척도의 구성타당도가 입증되었다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the reliability and validity of the Korean Alexithymia Questionnaire for Children(K-AQC). the AQC was published by Rieffe, Oosterveld & Terwogt(2006) to assess Alexithymia of children which modified TAS-20 for children. The subjects were 202 upper level elementary-school students in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. They were assessed by the Korean Alexithymia Questionnaire for Children, Emotional Expression Questionnaire, Childhood Depression Inventory and Somatization scale of SCL-90-R. While exploratory factor analysis, 5 items were removed as their factor loading of low internal consistency. Consequently, K-AQC consist of 15 items on total and 3 factor, named as Difficulty Identifying Feelings, Difficulty Describing Feelings and Externally-Oriented Thinking. To test the validity of the K-AQC, examined correlations between the K-AQC and various psychological constructs including emotional expressiveness, depression and somatic complaints. The range of correlations were consistent with previous studies examining similar variables. Considering the level of reliability and validity of the K-AQC, it will provide a useful tool for alexithymia for children.
