우울-품행 장애 성향 청소년의 친한 친구의 수, 친구관계의 질 및 대인관계 문제

초록

본 연구는 우울과 품행 문제 성향을 동시에 갖는 청소년들이 우울 또는 품행 문제 성향을 보이는 청소년들과 친구 수, 친구관계의 질 및 대인관계 문제에서 어떤 차이를 보이는지를 검증하였다. 고등학교 1∼3학년 423명을 대상으로 우울 점수와 외현화 문제 점수를 기준으로 우울 성향 집단, 품행 성향 집단, 우울-품행 성향 집단 및 통제 집단을 선발하였다. 이후에 집단 간 차이를 검증하기 위해 변량 분석과 Scheffe’ 사후 검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 지각한 친구의 수로 평가되는 양적 측면에서 우울-품행 성향 집단이 다른 집단과 유의미한 차이를 보이지는 않았다. 오히려 우울 성향 집단이 지각한 친구의 수가 통제 집단과 품행 성향 집단보다 유의미하게 적었다. 친구관계 질적 측면의 긍정적 기능을 보면, 우울-품행 성향 집단에서 품행 성향 집단과 통제 집단보다 교제의 즐거움, 신뢰, 정서적 안정이 더 낮은 수준으로 보고되었다. 또한 우울-품행 성향 집단은 품행 성향 집단보다 친밀감을 덜 경험하였고, 통제 집단보다는 도움을 덜 경험하였다. 친구관계의 부정적 기능에서는 우울-품행 성향 집단과 품행 성향 집단이 통제 집단보다 갈등을 더 많이 일으켰다. 마지막으로, 대인관계 문제 영역에서 우울-품행 성향 집단은 모든 하위 영역에서 어떤 다른 한 집단의 청소년들보다 더 어려움을 경험하고 있는 것으로 나타나 다양한 문제들을 더 많이 경험한다는 것이 입증되었다. 종합해보면, 우울-품행 성향 집단은 친구 관계의 낮은 긍정적 기능 수준과 많은 대인관계 문제 영역이 우울 성향 집단과 유사하였고, 친구 관계의 높은 부정적 기능 수준과 타인을 통제·지배하려는 욕구가 큰 특성은 품행 성향 집단과 유사였다. 즉, 우울-품행 성향 집단은 단일 장애 성향 집단과 통제 집단 보다 친한 친구와 대인 관계에서 가장 어려움을 겪고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과들은 우울-품행 성향 집단에 적절하고 효과적인 대인관계 개입을 위한 근거와 우울-품행 장애의 진단에 대한 지지가 될 것이다. 마지막으로 후속 연구를 위한 제안과 본 연구의 제한점을 논의하였다.

Abstract

The current study investigated the number of close friends, close friendship quality, and interpersonal problems of adolescents with depressive-conduct problem. Based on CES-D scores and K-YSR externalizing problem scores, these four groups were divided for comparison: the depression, the conduct the depressive-conduct, and control. The depressive-conduct group did not differ significantly from other groups. Rather, The depression group showed lower numbers of close friends than both the conduct group and control. In the positive quality of close friendship, the depressive-conduct group showed lower companionship, lower reliance, and lower emotional security than both the conduct group and control. Also, the depressive-conduct group showed lower intimacy than the conduct group and lower assistance than the control. In the negative quality of close friendship, the depressive-conduct group showed more conflicts than control. In interpersonal problems, the depressive-conduct group was found to experience more difficulties in all subscale than in any other group, proving to have more difficulty of various relationships. In conclusion, low level of positive function of close friendship, interpersonal problems of depressive-conduct group are more similar to those of depression group, and as with the conduct group, showed more desire to control․domination than the depressive group and more negative function with close friend than the control. These results will be the basis for support for the diagnosis of depressive-conduct disorder and appropriate and effective interpersonal intervention for depressive-conduct group. Finally, the proposal for the follow-up study and limitations of this study were discussed.
