학교 차원의 긍정적 행동지원 실행 연구 최신 동향: 2012-2017년 국내외 학술지를 중심으로

초록

이 연구는 2012년부터 2017년 사이에 발행된 학교차원의 긍정적 행동지원(SWPBS) 실행 연구를 검토하여 최신 동향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 총 16편의 국내외 논문이 최종 분석되었으며, 이는 일반적인 특성, 실행 과정과 요소로 구분되어 분석되었다. 분석결과 2013년 이후 국내연구의 꾸준한 증가가 특징으로 나타났으며, 연구방법으로는 실험연구가 8편으로 가장 많았다. SWPBS의 학교환경이 특수학교인 경우는 모두 국내연구였으며, 국외연구가 모든 학교급에서 실행된 것과 달리 일반학교에서 실행된 국내연구는 모두 초등학교 중심이었다. 대부분의 연구는 실행 과정과 요소를 포함하였으며, 교수 및 강화 전략을 포함한 연구는 모두 7편이었다. 실행 성과는 크게 학교, 학생, 교사 차원으로 측정되었으나 대부분 학생 차원의 성과에 초점을 두었으며 이 중 ‘문제행동 발생’을 측정한 연구가 11편으로 가장 많았다. 분석논문 중 15편이 실행(중재)의 충실도를 보고한 것에 비해 사회적 타당도를 보고한 연구는 총 6편으로 적었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 국내외 연구 동향과 다층체계 적용의 특징, 학교 특성에 따른 실행 차이와 지원성과 측정의 고려사항, 사회적 타당도 보고의 중요성 등이 논의되었다.

Abstract

This study examined trends in peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2012 and 2017 that implemented SWPBS including universal support. A total of 16 studies was analyzed as follows: (a) research overview, and (b) implementation procedures and components. As a result, one of the features of studies was the gradual increase of Korean studies, and the dominant research method was experimental design among SWPBS empirical research. In addition, all special school settings of SWPBS were included in only Korean studies. Also, foreign studies applied in both primary and secondary schools whereas Korean studies for inclusive schools applied only in elementary schools. Most studies reported implementation procedures and components including preparation process, planning and implementing process, and data collecting and post-evaluation process. Additionally, outcomes of SWPBS were measured in aspects of schools, students, and teachers. However, most studies focus on students’ outcomes, especially prevalence of problem behaviors. A total of 15 studies reported intervention fidelity, but only 6 studies reported social validity data. Findings are discussed in terms of research trends and features of multi-tiered system applications, implementation differences based on school settings, concerns of support and outcome measures, and the importance of reporting social validity.
