본 연구에서는 대구광역시에 거주하고 있는 장애인들 대상으로 보조공학 서비스 에 대한 수요 조사를 실시하고, 그들의 주된 욕구를 파악하고자 하였다. 2009년 8월 ~ 9월에 걸쳐 총 200명의 장애인을 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 총 113명의 설문지를 연구 분석하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 대구광역시의 장애인을 대상으로 보조공학 서비스를 제공할 보조공학 서비스 센터가 필요하며, 정보제공, 상담 및 평가, 보조기기 맞춤 제작 및 개조의 업무를 우선적으로 실시해야 하며, 장애인들이 이 서비스를 이용할 때 지방 자치단체 및 공적급여 등의 재정적 지원이 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 조사된 결과는 향후 지역사회 기반 보조공학 서비스가 실시될 경우 사업 규모 책정, 계획 수립, 보조공학 서비스 센터 운영에 필요한 자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to survey people with disabilities living in Daegu city on their demand for Assistive Technology Service Center and to identify their primary needs. The survey had carried out from August 2009 to September 2009. And 200 had participated in survey, 113 of available data were analyzed. Through this study, the necessity of setting up an assistive technology service center which aimed at people with disabilities living in Daegu city was identified. Tasks like information provision, consultation and evaluation, manufacture and modification devices and user training should be performed by assistive technology experts and financial support from local government, public benefit, and health insurance were needed in using assistive technology. The results of this study were expected to be used as a groundwork for decision of scale, devisal of plan and management of further community- based assistive technology service center.
