초록

본 연구의 목적은 PREP의 연속적처리훈련이 초등학교 읽기장애아동의 단어읽기능력에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 것으로 단어읽기는 의미단어읽기와 무의미단어읽기로 구성하였다. 초등학교 3-4학년 읽기장애아동 18명을 실험집단 10명, 통제집단 8명으로 무선배치하고 사전 읽기검사를 실시하고, 10회기 동안 회기 당 30분씩 실험을 하였다. 실험 후 읽기검사를 실시하고 집단별 사전·사후차이를 검증하였다. 이에 따른 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 의미단어읽기능력에서 실험집단이 통제집단보다 통계적으로 유의미하게 향상되었다. 둘째, 무의미단어읽기능력에서 실험집단이 통제집단보다 통계적으로 유의미하게 향상되었다. 따라서 PREP의 연속적처리훈련은 단어읽기능력을 향상시켰다고 할 수 있으며, 연속적처리능력 또한 향상되었다고 유추할 수 있을 것이다.

Abstract

The purpose of this Study was to examine the effect of PREP's(PASS Reading Enhancement Program) successive processing training on word recognition for elementary students with RD. In this study, regular words and pseudo words were used. So many elementary students with RD had a problem to recognize a word. In an earlier study of PREP, we knew a link between the successive processes of PREP and word-decoding deficiencies. So 'Window Sequencing' task and 'Joining Shapes' task of the successive processes were used as the training programs of this study. Eighteen subjects with RD were selected for this study. They were elementary students and were selected from two school and two hospital in Busan. Reading-Ⅰ subtest from the KEDI-Individual Basic Learning skills test that directly measure word recognition test and pseudo word reading test were used as pretest/posttest measures. As the results of this study PREP's successive processing training enhanced on the ability of reading a word. Accordingly, the result of this study suggests that the PREP's successive processing training could help the elementary students with RD in reading a word.
