이 논문은 ‘한국수화의 언어적 특성에 따른 국어대응식 수화의 문제점을 분석’하는데 목적이 있다. 분석 결과 ‘한국수화’는 자연성, 축약성, 표현상의 공간성, 의미파악상의 시각성, 손동작의 다양한 변화를 요구하는 유사표현, 사물의 동작, 위치, 형태, 크기 등을 손의 움직임, 위치, 형태에 옮겨 놓는 오노마트페, 음성언어와 같은 리듬, 다른 사람들의 역할을 연기하는 롤 쉬프트, 농인들의 선호성, 농인들의 의사소통 도구로서의 적절성 등의 특성이 있다. 반면, 국어대응식 수화는 1) 형성과정 및 표현상의 비(非)자연성과 비(非)축약성, 2) 수화표현상의 문제점에서의 ① 공간 활용상의 반(反)복합성 및 폐쇄성 ② 공간 표현 기능상의 제한성 및 경직성, 3) 의미 표현상의 반(反)시각성과 부적절성에서의 ① 언어기능 표현상의 비(非)문법성 ② 언어기능 표현상의 반(反)시각성 ③ 의미표현상의 부적절성, 4) 유사 표현의 제한성에서의 ① 유사 표현의 제한성 ② 오노마트페에서의 비운율성 ③ 수화 리듬상의 경직성 ④ 롤 쉬프트에서의 부적절한 역할 표현 등 국어대응식 수화에 많은 문제점이 있음이 구명되었다. 따라서 연구자는 국어대응식 수화의 이러한 문제점에 대한 학계와 농교육계의 연구를 제언하고자 한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the Problems of Sign Language following Korean Language System according to the Linguistic Characteristics of Korean Sign Language. The result of analyzation is found as followings;First, Korean Sign Language has the characteristics of ① naturalization in being formed and being used in deafs' lives, ② expressions by briefed signs in the space instead of sound language, ③ understanding its meanings by seeing, ④ classifiers, ⑤ onomatopoeia , ⑥ rhythm as like in sound language, ⑦ other's role shift, and ⑧ that deafs especially like to use it and it is proper to deaf's communication tool.Second, the designed Sign Language following Korean language system ① is not natural and briefing in being formed and expressions, ② doesn't have compound linguistic factors, ③ limitation, stiff and proper in expressions in space, Classifiers, onomatopoeia, rhythm and role shift, ④ the deafs especially dislike to use it, ⑤ that they respect the natural sign language more than the designed sign language in other country such as USA.In conclusion, as Sign Language following Korean Language System has many problems, it is expectable that the educational system of sign language must be studied in whole sides of it.
