자살 유가족의 심리사회적 적응을 위한 인지행동가족치료 프로그램 개발 및 효과

초록

본 연구의 목적은 자살 유가족의 심리사회적 적응을 위한 인지행동가족치료 프로그램을 개발, 실시하고 그 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 자살로 가족을 잃은 경험이 있는 유가족으로 사건 이후 최소 1년이 지나고 가족구성원 전원이 프로그램에 참여할 수 있는 기준을 충족하는 1가족 3명을 최종 대상으로 선정하여 프로그램의 효과성을 살펴보았다. 자살 유가족의 심리사회적 적응을 위한 인지행동가족치료 프로그램 개입은 주 1회 진행으로 1～6회기는 60분씩 개인 상담, 7～10회기는 90분씩 가족 상담으로 총 10회기 진행하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자기 지각 관련 죄책감, 수치심, 우울, 상태 불안은 모두 감소한 반면, 스트레스 대처방식과 외상 후 성장은 증가하였다. 둘째, 프로그램 종료 3개월 후에도 자살 유가족의 변화는 모두 유지되었다. 셋째, 프로그램 실시 후, 자살 유가족의 자기 및 타인(고인) 관련 부적응적인 사고 및 신념은 적응적인 변화로 나타났다.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and implement a cognitive-behavioral family therapy program for the psychosocial adaptation of survivors of suicide survivors and investigate the effects. To this end, the effectiveness of the program was investigated by selecting three family members who had lost a family member to suicide and who met the criteria for all family members to participate in the program after at least one year had passed since the incident. Cognitive behavioral family therapy program intervention for psychosocial adaptation of survivors of suicide was conducted once a week, with individual counseling for 60 minutes in sessions 1 to 6 and family counseling for 90 minutes in sessions 7 to 10, for a total of 10 sessions. The main results of this study are as follows. First, self-perception-related guilt, shame, depression, and state anxiety all decreased, while stress coping style and post-traumatic growth increased. Second, all changes in the family members of the suicide survivors maintained even after three months from the end of the program. Third, after the implementation of the program, maladaptive thoughts and beliefs related to survivors of suicide themself and others (deceased) appeared as adaptive changes.
