The purpose of this study was to explore the components of the establishment of an integrated management system between ministries required as the main knowledge and skills of the curriculum to open a cooperative course for transition and lifelong education majors for persons with developmental disabilities in graduate schools with special education majors. Through this, it was intended to establish evidence that subjects who completed the above cooperative course could be trained and intervened as lifelong education professionals for persons with developmental disabilities based on the level of qualification of the coordinator type. The research method used the procedure of FGI by selecting experts who majored in transition and lifelong education for persons with developmental disabilities. The content of the study was based on the view that a cooperative course on transition and lifelong education majors for persons with developmental disabilities can be opened through a major curriculum in graduate schools equipped with special education majors that integrates the practices of (vocational) special education, developmental disabilities, and transition education. In order for comprehensive independent life to be reflected as major outcomes in the life cycle flow and context of adulthood for persons with developmental disabilities, a lifelong education support system must be established as a follow-up management aspect of transition education, and an integrated management system that presupposes joint access and circulation with welfare and employment services belonging to other fields is also important as a result of the study. And the research results suggest that the above cooperative course can be opened through the implementation elements of an integrated management system (e.g., employability, teaching and learning for lifelong education curriculum, customized employment training, basic management training related to vocational life, etc.) that can mutually link and provide feedback to the individualized support plan (ISP) and individualized employment support plan (IESP) belonging to other fields at the level of the individualized lifelong education plan (ILEP) for persons with developmental disabilities while guaranteeing independence of existing expertise in each field. The integrated management system between ministries, which is the main basis for the curriculum for establishing and operating the above cooperative course, was presented as a research result in that it not only serves as a dimension of customized lifelong education for persons with developmental disabilities, but also validates the type and training of qualifications of coordinators who can explore and intervene in the connection and feedback between each field in a balanced manner in terms of the capabilities of lifelong education professionals.
