코로나 시대 한국인의 심리적 어려움 및 민간기관 심리서비스 제공 실태: 텍스트마이닝 접근을 중심으로

초록

2020년 코로나 발생 이후 강도 높은 거리두기를 경험한 한국인들이 우울과 불안을 비롯한 정서문제를 호소하고 있다. 거리두기 해제 후에도 사회적으로 단절된 기간동안 촉발된 부정정서와 집단간 갈등이 이어지는 후유증이 우려되는 현 상황에서, 본 연구는 텍스트 마이닝 방법을 이용하여 2020년 1월부터 9월까지 일반 사람들이 네이버 지식인 공간에 심리서비스(심리상담, 심리검사 및 평가) 이용을 고려하면서 심리적 고충을 터놓은 13,433개 글을 단어 동시출현 분석 및 DMR 토픽 모델링하였다. 이와 더불어, 민간 심리서비스 기관 283개 웹사이트에서 확인할 수 있는 종사자들의 전문성을 검토하였다. 연구결과, 강도 높은 거리두기를 경험한 한국인들의 고충은 정서문제와 가족관계, 그리고 불안정한 가정환경 내 아동 청소년의 괴로움으로 나타나며, 심리서비스 이용을 고려하면서 서비스 제공자의 전문성에 관심을 가졌다. 한편, 일반 사람이 가장 흔하게 접할 수 있는 민간기관 종사자 중 전문성을 인정할 수 있는 국가 및 민간등록 자격을 소지한 비율은 절반 이하(42.2%)여서, 코로나 이래 높아진 심리서비스 관심과 기대를 적절히 충족하지 못하는 실정이다. 마지막으로 연구결과를 토대로 개선방안 및 본 연구의 제한점과 향후 연구 제안을 논의하였다.

Abstract

COVID-19 outbreak in 2020 and intense social distancing elevated Korean people’s distress. While concerns remain after COVID-19 about the negative affect and conflicts between social groups/classes, the present study analyzed 13,433 natural text by general Korean people about their psychological struggles from January to September 2020, utilizing text mining approach including word co-occurrence analysis and DMR topic modeling. In addition, 283 websites of psychological treatment centers were reviewed for the availability of the treatment providers’ license and qualification. In results, domains of Korean people’s struggles included emotional distress, family conflicts, and struggles of children and adolescents in unstable home environment. Korean people in general expressed increased needs for treatment by experts, however less than half of the treatment providers (42.2%) had licenses deemed professional enough to meet the psychological needs. Suggestions for the treatment provision environment are provided.
