원리화를 통한 트랜스퍼링 방법론에 관한 연구

초록

본고의 중심논지는 청중과 사회를 변혁시키는 성경적 설교 적용의 트랜스퍼링(transferring)을 위한 원리화 과정의 필요성을 인식하고, 나아가 트랜스퍼링의 기준을 분별하여 구체적인 원리화 다리놓기와 방법론을 확립해야 한다는것이다. 첫째, 설교자들은 청중을 변혁시키는 적용의 트랜스퍼링을 위한 원리화 과정의 적용 해석학 차원의 필요성을 냉철하게 인식하는 것이 필요하다. 본문의 지평과 현대 지평 사이에 존재하는 해석학적인 간격을 연결(overarching)하기 위해, 여러 가지 불균형적 적용 오류와 패턴을 방지 하기위해, 다양한 교리적 요소(기준)와 다차원적 적실성을 함의하는 목회적인 구속사 설교를 위해, 기존에 제시된 추상적인 모델들(보편화/특수화 혹은 상황화/재상황화 모델)의 한계를 극복하기 위해서도 원리화 다리놓기를 통한 적용 트랜스퍼링 방법론이 필요하다. 둘째, 브릿지빌더로서 설교자들은 트랜스퍼링을 통한 원리화과정에서적용의 보편적인 원리를 발견(분별)하기 위한 ‘기준’(criteria)을 확립해야 할필요가 있다. 트랜스퍼링에 대한 기존의 양극화된 해석학적 논쟁을 넘어 다양한 모델들을 비평적으로 분석하고, 성경과 역사적 모델에 기초한 대안적인 트랜스퍼링의 기준 즉 7가지 교리적 렌즈들(언약 혹은 구속사/그리스도,하나님의 성품, 인간론, 구원론, 교회론, 성령론, 종말론)이 필요하다.셋째 설교자들은 적용의 , 트랜스퍼링을 위한 원리화 과정의 적용 해석학적 필요성과 트랜스퍼링을 통한 원리화 과정에서 적용의 보편적인 원리를분별하기 위한 기준(criteria)을 확립해야 할 필요성을 인지하는 차원에 머물지 않고, 원리화 과정을 통한 5단계 트랜스퍼링의 방법론을 구체적으로 정립해야 할 필요가 있다.

Abstract

The central aim of this study is to maintain the necessity of a principlizingbridge for transferring author-intended application and to propose amethodology of principlizing process to transform the audience’s lives. Only when preachers are faithful to a life-changing doctrine-based orprinciple-rooted application paradigm, can they avoid inappropriateapplication approaches. Although the ladder of abstraction rightly indicatesthat universal principles of application are rooted in two major doctrinalelements, an expository preacher needs to consider other doctrinalelements. Preachers as bridge-builders should discern legitimate criteria totransfer author-intended application in the principlizing bridge. The purposeof the theological process is to identify the doctrine-based universalprinciple for specific contextualization and transformational application. Inthis regard, beyond two extremes of criteria, expositors need to seek amore balanced perspective and to suggest a specific methodology todiscern the criteria of universal principle. For understanding criteria ofapplication, preachers must note doctrinal components that call for theappropriate transfer of application. Thus, in order to uncover the masterkeys that unlock universal principles of application, preachers shouldconsider one redemptive or Christ-centered telescope and seven doctrinal lenses: (1) the unchanging nature of God (theology proper) and creationorder, (2) the nature of man (anthropology), (3) hamartiology, (4)soteriology, (5) ecclesiology, (6) pneumatology, (7) eschatology. Preachers not only need a doctrine-based application paradigm, butthey also need to seek a methodology to identify doctrine-based criteriafor universal principles. On the basis of some models of principlizingprocess, discussing how to formulate a doctrine-based applicationparadigm based on the Minor Prophets, Paul, John Chrysostom, JohnCalvin, Jonathan Edwards, and John Broadus’ models is necessary. Thispaper suggests five steps of a transferring process as a principlizingbridge.
