Abstract

The evangelical prescription for mission theologizing that is not limited by any category, brings the Kingdom perspective into existence. The concentration of total salvation upon the restoration of the broken relationship with God in Christ confirms the evangelical perspective. That hermeneutics provides links between mission and the Bible is based on the centre of Christology. It leads us to focus on the integrating principle of which Christ has fulfilled both "the new creation" and "the redemption. "Furthermore, the Christ-centeredness implies two hermeneutical poles. In our discussion including both creation kingdom and redemption kingdom, therefore, the Kingdom perspective has two starting points, viz.: "Starting with Christology" and "Starting with Anthropology." As a result of the study, an important hermeneutical key is the word "relatedness." Because the word "relationship" takes on great significance, and should be seen in two ways: First, a perichoretic relationship of self, neighbour, world (nature) and God. This shows a holistic salvation. Secondly, a covenant relationship between God and man. This shows the ecclesiastical nature of God’s mission. Thus, the core of the Kingdom’s message is a holistic understanding of salvation on mission through the church. The outcome would not only concentrate on whether we have included too much territory or not enough territory in the Kingdom-centered theology, but also whether we are fully obedient to God’s standards for evangelism and social responsibility. This is a reason why Reformed theology demands equal billing for social responsibility and evangelism in the mission of the church toward the world. The history of humankind is the import of God’s mission to redeem sinners who seek his salvation, the life of Jesus who came as a missionary, and the substance of Holy Spirit who works in the hearts of those who hear. In addition, Christians should participate to do their duty and bring the kingdom of God on earth and heaven, mission as world evangelization is not only necessarily assigned a minor place, but it also becomes one of a number of good works. Therefore, God’s mission is based on a holistic understanding. A person who wants to argue for welfare from a religious perspective is obliged to answer the provocative question "How and why?" The answer will differ dependently on what kind of Christian approach is taken. From Christian concept about social responsibility as an unconditioned duty given by God, The evangelical churches are especially adapted to work with welfare and should do so to a greater extent. This is based on the assumption that there are particular social qualities to be found in the Kingdom of God. That is how deaconia was motivated when it was initiated. Therefore, social welfare is in new paradigm in the holistic mission.
