현대 교육체제의 팽창과 분쟁의 증가로 말미암아 교육법 지식이 중요해지고 있고 특히 교육법학사전과 같은 전문사전이 필요한 실정이다. 그러나 이와 관련한 문헌들을 살펴보면 일반적인 사전집필편람(Manual of Lexicography)이나 외국의 교육법 편람이나 사전들은 간간이 있으나 한국 교육법학사전은 아직 발간된 것이 없다. 이 논문은 교육법학사전의 편찬과정에서 연구진이 검토한 교육법학 사전의 편찬을 위한 이론적 관점과 그것을 토대로 하여 수행된, 교육법학 사전편찬을 위한 용어의 분류체계 정립에 관한 연구 결과를 정리한 것이다.
Abstract
Legal issues go increasing in numbers in Korean education scene. For example, issues relating to right to education, right to learning, equality in education, right to participate in governing schools etc. For finding of solutions of such issues, it is necessary to understand meaning of major concepts and theoretical knowledge on the educational law and rights of children in school. And also it is necessary for a would-be educational law researcher to understand meaning of many terms used in controversies on the subjects. But it is very difficult to understand the meaning of the concepts and theories in educational law, because this field of study is characteristic of interdisciplinary study. The terms have origin in education, law, administration, psychology, sociology, and history. There are handbooks and dictionaries in educational law in Japan, United States. But in Korea there are not yet such dictionaries although there are some handbook of school law, private school law. So, it is important task to compile Korean educational law dictionary. This paper is summary of study on the lexicography for dictionary of Korean education law. The study as a part of projects for compiling dictionaries of the Korea Research Foundation was financially supported by the foundation. The object of this study is to explore the principles in compiling the Korean Education Law Dictionary and to compile the dictionary. The entry words of the dictionary were classified into 10 groups They are basic principles of educational law, school system, teaching and learning activities in school, rights of the children and pupils, legal issues in th life of students in school, law and regulations about teacher and other staff in school, educational environment and educational facilities, educational administration system and financing, private school law, and adult education and life- long education.
