본 연구의 목적은 스포츠선수와 스포츠도구의 육화된 관계를 해명하는 데 있다. 몇몇 스포츠는 도구의 사용을 필수적으로 요구한다. 해당 스포츠에 참여하는 선수는 도구를 마치 자신의 신체를 다루듯이 자연스럽게 사용한다. 여기에서 우리는 선수와 도구의 유기적 관계가 형성되어 있다는 사실을 본다. 이 연구는 그 관계의 형성을 신체적 차원에서 살펴볼 것이며, 이를 위한 이론적 토대를 메를로-퐁티의 신체론과 하이데거의 도구개념에서 찾는다. 이 두 개념을 중심으로 신체-주체와 도구의 육화된 관계를 살펴보고 이를 스포츠선수와 스포츠도구에 적용한다.
Abstract
This study aims to explain the embodied relationship between the sports player and the sports equipment. Some sports require the use of sports equipment. Sports player handles the required equipment as naturally as he treats his or her own body. Here we see the fact that there is an organic relationship between the sports player and the equipment. This study seeks to understand the formation of the embodied relationship from the level of body(Leib), not consciousness. In order to achieve the goal, this study takes the body theory of Merleau-Ponty and borrows Heidegger’s equipment concept. Focusing on these two concepts, this study will examine the embodied relationship between the body-subject and the equipment and apply it to the embodied relationship between the sports players and the sports equipment.
