초록

본 논문은 ‘2007 체육과 교육과정’이 고시되고 그 적용을 기다리고 있는 상황에서 개정 교육과정이 갖는 의미를 분석하고자 함에 있다. 고시된 ‘2007 체육과 교육과정’은 초·중·고등학교 학교 현장의 설계도이면서 동시에 새로운 교육과정 연구의 출발점이 될 것이다. 이러한 점에서 ‘2007 체육과 교육과정’을 분석하는 것은 대단히 의미 있는 작업이 될 것이다. 본 논문은 이러한 인식 위에 ‘2007 체육과 교육과정’의 개정 배경, ‘2007 체육과 교육과정’의 특징, 그리고 새로운 체육과 교육과정에 따른 학교 교육의 변화 가능성을 탐색하였다. 먼저 개정의 배경 및 필요성에서는 사회 환경의 변화에 따른 개정의 필요성, 체육과 교육과정 문서 체계의 적합성 재고의 필요성, 체육교육의 질적 변화 수용의 필요성을 제시하였다. 다음으로, ‘2007 체육과 교육과정’의 특징에서는 ‘신체활동 수행 목적’에 따른 가치 영역의 설정, ‘신체활동 가치’에 따른 내용 체계의 단일화와 계열화 모색, 체육과 교육에 대한 새로운 철학의 반영, 체육과 교육과정의 ‘성격’의 체계화의 네 가지를 제시하였다. 그리고 새로운 체육과 교육과정에 따른 학교 교육 변화 가능성에서는 체육과 교육의 패러다임 전환, 학교 현장 수업 형태의 변화, 여가 교육과 활동의 활성화, 체육과의 종합적 교육 내용 강조 가능성을 제시하였다.

Abstract

This report is to analyze the purpose of the new education curriculum in the mean time of waiting for results of the󰡐Physical Education Curriculum of 2007' after its notification. The󰡐Physical Education Curriculum of 2007' is the plan for elementary, middle and high schools as well as a launch point of the research of the new education. For these reasons, analyzing the󰡐Physical Education Curriculum of 2007' will be a crucial work. Underneath this cognition, this text deals with the background of improvements in the󰡐Physical Education Curriculum of 2007', its characteristics and its possibility of changes in school education due to its improvements. First of all the report concentrates on the necessity of improvement due to the changes in the society, then the necessity of comprehending the actual changes of the physical education course and the necessity of reconsidering whether the curriculum is appropriate. Next, the text deals with four of the followings: selecting values based on󰡐the purpose of physical activities'; based on󰡐the value of physical activities', reflecting new philosophy on Physical Education and Education Course, the systematization of the PE and Education Course's characteristics. Also, it presents the conversion of the PE and Education paradigm, changes in school lessons, activation of leisure education and activities, and the possibility of emphasizing the overall education of Physical education.
