코리안 표기법에 대한 사회언어학적 해석

이 글에서는 한국과 조선, 중국, 겨레말큰사전 등의 코리안 표기법을 복합적 문자사용과 관련된 개념들로 분석하였다. 이를 통해 앞으로의 표기법, 또는 표기 관행이 어떻게 구성될 수 있는지 또한 가늠해 보았다. 표기 체계 자체나 하향식 정책 결정에 중점을 두지 않고 문자사용자와 그 표기 수행에 초점을 둔 개념들은 표기법이 문자사용 관행에 의해 뒷받침되어야 하며, 문자사용자들의 일상적 접촉과 교류를 통해 이러한 관행과 정체성이 바뀌어 갈 수 있음을 보여준다. 이에 따라 이미 존재하는 관련 공간들에서의 표기 관행을 더 자세히 살펴보려는 노력이 요구된다.
Abstract
In this article, writing systems of Korean such as South Korea, North Korea, China, and Gyeoremalkeunsajeon were analyzed with concepts related to the mixing of writing. Through this, I also examined how future writing systems or writing practices could be constructed. Concepts that focus on writers and their writing practices, without focusing on the writing system itself or top-down policy decisions, show that the writing system should be supported by writing practices, and these practices and identities change through the daily contact and exchange of writers. Accordingly, an effort is required to look more closely at the writing practices in the related spaces that already exist.
