이 연구에서는 문학치료의 방법론으로 제안된 이야기만들기에서 상담자가 어떻게 질문할 것인가에 대해 논의하였다. 문학텍스트의 독해 과정에서 일어나는 독자의 자기 이해와 성장을 상담의 과정으로서 경험할 수 있도록 기본 원리와 구조를 제안한 것이 이야기만들기이다. 텍스트의 독해 과정을 이해하기 위해 리쾨르의 텍스트 해석학을 원용하였으며 질문의 범주 역시 리쾨르가 제시한 텍스트 해석의 범주 4가지를 고려하였다. 텍스트 해석의 네 가지 범주는 ①문자에 의한 거리두기, ②구조를 통한 객관화, ③텍스트의 세계, ④텍스트 앞에서의 자기 이해이다. 이 연구는 먼저 이러한 텍스트 해석의 네 범주가 이야기만들기 과정에서 어떻게 드러나고 탐색되는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 그리고 실제 문학치료 상담사례에서 각 범주에서 도달하고자 하는 목표를 촉진하고 독려하는 것으로서 상담자의 질문 예시를 찾아 논의하였다. 이야기만들기에서 범주별 질문의 실제는 첫 번째, ‘자기중심적 읽기 촉진 질문’으로 문학텍스트에 대한 내담자의 주관적 상상과 자기 세계에 충실한 읽기를 촉진하기 위한 질문이다. 두 번째, ‘서사적 특징에 대한 분석적 질문’은 원 텍스트와 재창작 텍스트의 서사의 구조와 구성요소를 알아차리기 위한 질문이다. 세 번째, ‘서사적 특징에 대한 탐색적 질문’으로 앞서 살펴본 서사의 구조적 특징이 드러내는 의미를 이해하기 위한 질문이다. 네 번째, ‘자기와의 관련성에 대한 탐색적 질문’은 서사의 구조적 특징과 의미가 내담자의 삶과 경험, 내면세계나 심리적 특성과 연결되는 지점을 발견함으로써 자기 이해와 자아의 확장을 꾀하는 질문이다.
Abstract
In this study, we discussed how the counselor would ask questions in story-making proposed as a methodology for literary therapy. Story-making is a proposal of basic principles and structures so that readers experience their self-understanding and growth that occurs in the process of reading literary texts as a consultation process. To understand the reading process of the text, Ricoeur's text hermeneutics was cited, and four categories of text interpretation presented by Ricoeur were considered for the categories of questions. The four categories of text interpretation are ① distancing by letters, ② objectification through structures, ③ the world of text, and ④ self-understanding before text. This study first attempted to examine how these four categories of text interpretation are revealed and explored in the story-making process. In addition, in the actual literary therapy counseling cases, the counselor's questions were discussed and specific examples were presented by facilitating and encouraging the goals to be reached in each category.
