The purpose of this study is to investigate the feelings and thoughts about military duty perceived by Korean adolescents from multicultural families(AMFs) and to analyze their need of preparation program for military conscription. To best satisfy the purpose, 93 adolescents were sampled and interviewed with structured inventory of attitude toward national security. The results of the interview and survey were like these: First, there were significant differences on the level of awareness about north Korea's military threat, necessity of military readiness, and conscription system between male and female adolescents. Second, There were also significant differences on the levels of awareness between high schoolers and elementary counterparts. Third, the interview data revealed that AMFs require educational program for their readiness of military conscription.
