제2차 세계대전시 독일의 패전요인 고찰: 무기체계 연구개발 및 전시생산체제를 중심으로

초록

최근 러시아의 우크라이나 침공과 집권 10년차를 맞이한 북한 김정은 정권의 신형 대륙간탄도미사일(ICBM) 시험발사 등 한반도와 동북아, 글로벌 안보상황은 불확실성이 심화하고 있다. 현재 한국군은 북한의 핵․미사일 위협을 포함하여 극초음속 미사일 등 신개념 무기체계를 중심으로 한 군사위협에 노출되어 있다. 역사적 관점에서 제2차 세계대전은 한반도 분단체제와 동북아의 전통적 안보딜레마 형성에 근본적인 원인을 제공하였다. 그런 의미에서 2차 세계대전은 오늘날 ‘상태로서의 전쟁’이자 ‘행위로서의 전쟁’이 지속되고 있는 우리 시대의 중요한 ‘구조사(構造史)’라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 2차 세계대전시 독일의 패전요인을 전쟁지속능력의 핵심요소인 무기체계 연구개발과 전시생산체제를 중심으로 고찰하였다. 약 80년 전 제2차 세계대전의 역사를 오늘날 재고찰하는 것은 추체험의 차원에서 역사적 함의를 갖는다

Abstract

Due to Russia's recent invasion of Ukraine and North Korea's test-firing of a new intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), the security situation on the Korean Peninsula and Northeast Asia is deepening uncertainty and instability. Currently, the South Korean military is exposed to military threats centered on new concept weapons systems such as hypersonic missiles, including North Korea's nuclear and missile threats. From a historical point of view, World War II provided the fundamental cause of the division system on the Korean Peninsula and the traditional security dilemma in Northeast Asia. World War II can be said to be an important structural history in that 'war as a state' and 'war as an act' continue. Therefore, in this study, the factors of defeat in Germany during World War II were considered, focusing on the R&D and wartime production system of weapons systems, which are key elements of war sustainability. Today's reexamination of the history of World War II about 80 years ago has historical implications in terms of re-enactment.
