본 연구는 다양한 사회복지실천현장에 종사하고 있는 사회복지사를 대상으로 사회복지교육과 사회복지사의 임파워먼트 간의 관계에서 사회복지실천기술의 매개효과를 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 325명의 사회복지사를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고 위계적 회귀분석을 활용하여 매개효과를 살펴보았다. 분석결과, 사회복지교육은 사회복지사의 실천기술적용과 임파워먼트에 유의한 영향을 미치며, 또한 실천기술의 적용은 사회복지교육과 사회복지사의 임파워먼트 간에 매개효과가 유의미하게 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 사회복지사의 임파워먼트 증진을 위해, 교육현장과 실천현장의 노력과 더불어 연계를 통한 개입전략이 모색되어야 함을 제시하고 있다. 본 연구결과를 기초로 사회복지사의 임파워먼트 증진을 위한 함의와 후속연구 방안을 제시하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore the impacts of social work education on the utilization of practice skills and empowerment among social workers and the mediating effect of practice skills. The data were collected from 325 social workers and the results were analyzed using SPSS. The results showed that social work education had statistically significant effects on the utilization of practice skills and empowerment among social workers. In addition, there was a statistically sginificant mediating effects of practice skills between social work education and empowerment among social workers. Based on these findings, the implications for social work education and practice to improve social workers' empowerment and recommendations for the further studies were presented.
