청소년의 사이버불링 피해경험이 우울 및 사회불안에 미치는 영향: 인지적 정서조절 전략 조절효과

초록

본 연구는 청소년의 사이버불링 피해경험과 우울 및 사회불안의 관계에서 인지적 정서조절 전략의 조절효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 경상북도, 세종특별자치시의 중학생 382명을 대상으로, 사이버불링 피해경험은 관련 척도를 통해 측정하였고, 우울 수준은 CES-D 척도를 통해, 사회불안은 K-SAS-A 척도를 통해, 인지적 정서조절 전략은 CERQ척도를 사용하여 평가하였다. 연구 결과를 검증하기 위해 SPSS 21.0을 사용하여 t검증, 피어슨의 단순상관분석, 회귀분석을 실행하였고, 그 연구 결과는 다음과 같이 나타났다. 첫째, 사이버불링 피해경험과 우울은 정적상관이 있었다. 둘째, 사이버불링 피해경험과 사회불안도 정적상관이 있었다. 셋째, 사이버불링 피해경험과 우울 및 사회불안에 미치는 영향에서 인지적 정서조절 전략의 조절효과가 있음이 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 청소년들의 사이버불링 피해경험으로 인하여 발생하는 우울과 사회불안을 줄이고 예방하기 위해 인지적 정서조절 전략을 강화하는 프로그램이 필요하다는 것을 시사했다. 마지막으로 본 연구는 인지적 정서조절 전략을 두 개의 범주로 나누어 진행하였는데, 추후 연구에서는 9개 하위요인 전부를 구성하여 후속 연구들이 진행되기를 제언한다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the moderating role of cognitive emotion regulation strategies in the relationship between cyberbullying victimization experiences and the levels of depression and social anxiety in adolescents. To achieve this, we administered the Cyberbullying Victimization Experience Scale, the Depression Scale (CES-D), the Social Anxiety Scale (K-SAS-A), and the Cognitive Emotion Regulation Strategy Scale (CERQ) to 382 middle school students in Gyeongsangbuk-do and Sejong Special Self-Governing City. To analyze the data, we conducted t-tests, Pearson correlation analysis, and regression analysis using SPSS 21.0. The results revealed several key findings: First, there was a positive correlation between experiences of cyberbullying victimization and depression. Second, there was a positive correlation between cyberbullying victimization and social anxiety. Third, cognitive emotion regulation strategies were found to play moderating role in the relationship between cyberbullying victimization and both depression and social anxiety. These findings suggest that implementing a program to promote cognitive emotion regulation strategies is essential for alleviating and preventing depression and social anxiety associated with cyberbullying in adolescents. Finally, this study categorized cognitive emotion regulation strategies into two groups and recommends future research to explore all nine subfactors comprehensively.
