본 연구의 목적은 가정폭력 행위자 집단상담 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과를 밝히는 데 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여, 본 연구는 가정폭력 행위자를 대상으로 자기 존중 향상과 일치적인 의사소통 기술을 위한 집단상담 프로그램을 개발하였다. 집단상담 프로그램은 먼저, 프로그램의 참여자들이 지금-여기에서 일어나는 상황에서 부정적인 감정과 역기능적 의사소통을 인식하게 하며, 둘째 가족구성원들의 정서적 측면과 감정에 관심을 두면서 자기 존중 향상을 통한 일치적 의사소통 기술을 습득하는 데 초점을 두었다. 본 프로그램의 훈련 대상은 「가정폭력방지의 처벌 등에 관한 특별법」과 「가정폭력방지의 피해자 보호 등에 관한 법률」에 의해 신고가 되어, 법원으로부터 상담위탁처분 명령을 받은 자들로 국한하였다. 프로그램의 실시 대상자들의 연령은 33세부터 55세까지의 가정폭력 행위자 6명을 집단으로 하였다. 실험집단의 프로그램은 총 11회기로 매 회기 120분씩 11주간 실시하였다. 프로그램에 대한 적용 효과를 알아보기 위한 질적 분석방법으로 먼저 참여자들이 그 목적에 도달하는 상담내용과 상담과정들을 상세하게 기록하여 분석하였다. 다음으로 사전에 실시한 심층면접과 개인상담 그리고 집단상담이 끝난 후 본 연구자와 관찰자가 함께 모여 각 참여자에 대해서 토의한 것을 분석하였다. 개발된 프로그램을 가정폭력 행위자들에게 실시한 결과는 다음과 같다. 가정폭력 행위자를 위한 프로그램을 경험한 집단은 경험하기 전과 비교하여 볼 때 자존감을 향상시켰다. 개발된 프로그램을 경험한 집단은 경험하지 전과 비교하여 볼 때 일치적 의사소통 능력이 향상되었다. 가정폭력 행위자 프로그램의 효과를 검증한 결과 자존감, 일치적 의사소통 능력에 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구 결과에 의하면 가정폭력 행위자에 실시한 본 프로그램은 효과적이었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to develop group counseling for domestic family violence to examine its effectiveness. To achieve this goal, the group counseling program has been developed on the basis of concepts ‘self-esteem’, ‘congruent communication’. The program focuses on making participants to realize their dysfunctional communication in current circumstances by raising each other's self-esteem in the group counseling, and also on improving family structure and way of communication with emphasis on emotions and feelings of family members. Objects of the study have been limited to those who ordered to be counseled by court under the application of ‘the Special Law in Punishment and Prevention of Domestic Violence Acts' and ‘the Law in Victim Protection under Prevention of Domestic Violent Acts'. A Group of between age 33 and 55 under domestic violence chosen. The program for the experiment group has been carried out for 120 minutes each week in total. In order to verify the effectiveness of application for the program, a quality method has been used to analysis entire process of the group counseling. According to the analysis of the reports, the program has been proved to be effective. The results of the pre and post tests of the Program of Group Counseling for Domestic Family Violence are as follows; Members experiencing “Program of Group Counseling for Domestic Family Violence” showed improvement in self-esteem. Members experiencing “Program of Group Counseling for Domestic Family Violence” showed improvement in congruent communication. The study of program of group counseling for domestic family violence results that's it has positive effect improving self-esteem, congruent communication, we conclude that the domestic family violence group effective.
