가정폭력 부부 집단프로그램의 효과성에 관한 연구 - 추후조사 결과를 중심으로 -

초록

본 연구의 목적은 가정폭력부부를 대상으로 부부개입을 실시한 후 폭력행동 감소와 부부관계 개선과 관련된 효과성을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 가정폭력 행위로 상담조건부 기소유예 처분으로 의뢰된 가정폭력 행위자 중 부부 모두가 폭력행동의 중단을 원하고 부부관계의 개선을 원하며, 피해자가 행위자와 함께 상담받는 것에 대한 두려움이 없고, 심각한 알코올중독이나 정신질환의 문제가 없는 부부를 프로그램의 참여 대상자로 결정하였다. 실험집단인 부부 4쌍에게 10회의 부부집단프로그램을 제공하고 프로그램 종료 후 3개월 동안 월 1회의 사후모임을 실시하였으며, 비교집단인 부부 5쌍에게는 프로그램을 제공하지 않았다. 그 결과 프로그램 종료 후 사후조사에서 실험집단의 심리적 폭력과 신체적 폭력 행동 점수가 비교집단에 비하여 유의미하게 감소하였고, 부부관계만족도도 다소 증가하는 양상을 보였으나, 부부적응과 관련된 변수에서는 유의미한 변화가 발생하지 않았다. 그러나 프로그램 종료 후 9개월 후의 추후조사의 결과 실험집단의 심리적, 신체적 폭력행동의 점수가 여전히 사후조사 시점보다 감소한 상태가 유지되고 있었으며, 부부관계만족도와 부부적응의 점수 또한 통계적으로 유의미한 수준으로 향상되어 있었다. 이러한 9개월 후 추후조사 결과를 바탕으로 가정폭력 부부에 대한 효과적인 개입방안에 관한 함의와 제언을 제시하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to compose a couples group treatment and verify its effect on domestic violence. The sample group of this study was referred from court mandated counseling center. The offenders who had moderate level of violence and their spouse were screened to see if they met the criteria to attend this couples conjoint treatment. Four couples were assigned to experimental group and five couples to the comparison group. The group treatment was composed of 10 sessions, which ran weekly with the booster sessions provided monthly after termination of 10 sessions to reinforce the changes made and to assist in problem solving challenges. The treatment was provided to the experimental group while the comparison group received none. The pre and post test measurements were taken in both experimental and comparison group. A post post test was executed only in the experimental group 3 months and 9 months after termination of treatment. As a result of analysis of pre and post test, the experimental group showed significant decreased levels of violence over the comparison group but didn't show significant improve in dyadic adjustment. The analysis of post post test 9 months after termination of treatment still showed significant decreased levels of violence and also significant levels of improved marital satisfaction and dyadic adjustment. The result of post post test in 9 months after termination of treatment is significant and it shows the positive application of this couples group treatment in domestic violence field.
