본 연구는 여성주의/인지행동 통합모델 집단상담 프로그램을 실시하여 가정폭력가해자들의 태도와 행동에 미치는 영향과 그 효과성을 알아보기 위한 연구이다. 연구를 실시하기 전 2013년부터 2015년에 걸쳐 3년 동안 가정폭력가해자들을 4차례 동안 집단상담을 실시하였다. 이러한 집단상담 경험과 가정폭력의 원인에 대한 조사를 통해 가정폭력원인 중 태도차원으로 성역할 태도와 권위의식을 행동 차원으로 의사소통, 스트레스, 분노를 변인으로 보았다. 대상자들은 P시에 거주하고 있는 가정폭력가 해자들이며 가정폭력으로 인해 법원에서 수강교육 40시간을 이수하라는 판결을 받은 남성 7명이다. 이들을 대상으로 하여 1일, 1회기 8시간씩 5일 동안 총 5회 집단 상담을 실시하였다. 실험은 가정폭 력가해자들로 구성된 단일집단으로 집단을 실시하기 전에 사전검사를 실시하고 후에 사후검사를 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 Wilcoxen Matched pairs Signed-Rank Test를 실시하였다. 연구 결과 집단상담에 참여한 가정폭력가해자들은 태도와 행동에 유의미한 변화를 보였다. 본 연구를 통해 여성주의/인 지행동집단상담프로그램이 가정폭력가해자들의 태도와 행동변화에 효과가 있는 것을 알 수 있었다.
