본 연구는 육군 장병의 안전체감지수를 획득하기 위한 도구를 개발하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 1차 연구에서 100명의 장병들로부터 육군의 안전체감요인과 그 이유에 대한 탐색 연구를 수행하였고, 2차 연구에서는 5개 부대(사단, 군단) 장병 450명을 대상으로 설문을 통해 안전체감 척도 개발 및 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 육군 장병들의 안전체감을 구성하고 있는 하위요인들은 ‘안전 의지’, ‘건강’, ‘정신’, 그리고 ‘정비/운동’의 4가지 요인으로 구성되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 개발된 안전체감 측정 도구에 따르면 육군 장병들의 안전체감지수는 100점 만점에 71.27점으로 다소 높은 수준을 보였다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 시사점과 연구의 제한점, 후속 연구방향에 대해서도 논의하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is carried out with the development of an instrument which will help obtain Safety Sentiment Index of army soldiers. The first part of this research paper deals with the safety sentiment factors and their causes derived from a survey conducted on 100 servicemen qualitatively. Meanwhile, the second portion of the paper seeks to develop a safety sentiment scale and verify its reliabilty and validity by conducting a survey on 450 servicemen of 5 units. As a result, it was proven that subordinate factors of safety sentiment consisted of ‘Safety will’, ‘Health’, ‘Mind’, and ‘Maintenance/Exercise’. According to the Measurement instrument of Safety Sentiment Index developed, Safety Sentiment Index of army soldiers was 71.27 out of 100, a relatively high level. Also, this study discussed the comments on this research and its restriction as well as the suggestion for further research.
