청소년기 사이버폭력 피해경험과 사회불안의 관계에서 사회적 유능성과 지각된 사회적 지지의 매개효과

본 연구는 청소년기 사이버폭력 피해경험과 사회불안의 관계에서 사회적 유능성과 지각된 사회적 지지의 매개효과를 규명하고자 이루어졌다. 이를 위해 총 408명의 중․고등학교 학생들에게 사이버폭력 피해경험 척도, 사회적 유능성 척도, 지각된 사회적 지지척도, 사회불안 척도로 구성된 설문지를 실시하였고, 수집된 자료에 대하여 상관분석과 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 사이버폭력 피해경험은 청소년의 사회불안을 유의미하게 예언하였으며, 사회적 유능성과 지각된 사회적 지지는 사이버폭력 피해경험과 청소년의 사회불안의 관계에서 부분매개를 하는 것으로 나타났다. 사이버폭력 피해경험과 사회불안의 유의미한 관계는 사이버폭력 피해경험 청소년들이 더 많은 사회불안을 경험한다는 것을 보여준다. 아울러 사회적 유능성과 지각된 사회적지지의 부분매개효과는 사이버폭력 피해경험 청소년들이 사회적 유능성이 저하되고 사회적 지지를 받지 못하고 있다고 지각할 때 사회불안이 더 악화시킬 수 있음을 시사해준다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 시사점과 제한점 및 추후 연구방향을 논의하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to closely investigate the mediating effect of social competence and perceived social support on the relarionship between cyberbullied experience and social anxiety in adolescence. For this, it carried out questionnaire, which was composed of cyberbullied experience scale, a measure of social competence, perceived social support scale, social anxiety scale targeting to a total of 408 middle and high school students. To examine the mediating effect, correlation analysis and regression analysis were used. In result, cyberbullied experience significantly predicted adolescents' social anxiety. And it showed the partial mediating effect of social competence and perceived social support on the link between cyberbullied experience and social anxiety in adolescence. This suggests that adolescents who experience cyberbullied may decrease social competence and perceive low social support, and further exacerbate social anxiety. In addition, the implications of the study on the basis of these results and the limitations and future research directions are discussed.
