본 연구는 부모-자녀 놀이치료 CPRT 프로그램(주1회/2시간씩, 총 10회기)을 통하여 공감적 상호작용 증진에 미치는 영향을 검증하고자 초기 아동기 자녀를 둔 4명의 어머니를 대상으로 실시하였다. 검증 방법으로 사례연구 조사(case study research)의 단일사례 실험연구(single-case experimental design: SCED) 설계를 적용하여 근거기반실천(evidence- based practices)에 입각한 분석을 시도하였다. 어머니와 아동의 상호작용 행동 변화를 측정하기 위해서 복수의 평정자가 총 3개의 관찰척도, 어머니 행동 평정척도 K-MBRS, 아동 행동 평정척도 K-CBRS, 성인-아동 공감적 상호작용 K-MEACI를 사용하여 사전(1회), 회기 중(3회), 사후(1회) 측정하였고, 프로그램 참여자인 어머니가 아동행동 평가척도 K-CBCL과 부모양육 스트레스 검사 K-PSI를 각각 사전, 사후 보고하였다. 프로그램 참여 후 어머니와 아동의 공감적 상호작용이 증진되었고, 어머니와 아동은 서로에 대한 관심, 수용성, 반응성 요인이 모두 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 부모가 아동의 문제 행동에 대해 지각한 시각과 양육 스트레스는 다수의 참가자에게 긍정적 변화를 보이는 것으로 나타냈으나, 한 명의 참가자는 아동에게 공감적 반응 기술을 적용하여 상호작용 하는 데에 어려움이 있는 것으로 나타났고, 이는 부모로써의 효능감을 낮아지게 하고 양육 스트레스를 유발한 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of 10 sessions Child Parent Relationship Therapy(CPRT) program on empathy in parent-child interaction. Subjects were 4 mother-child dyads and their children are 6 to 8 years old girls. The methodology is single-case experimental design(SCED) of case study research to be aligned to the evidence-based practices. Three observation scales were used to measure the change of mother-child interaction in pre, during, and post the session. Three observation scales: K-Measurement of Empathy in Adult-Child Interaction, K-Maternal Behavior Rating Scale, and K-Child Behavior Rating Scale. Also, Two self report scales were used to check the change of view points for children' behavior in pre and post session. The self reports scales: K-Child Behavior Checklist and K-Parenting Stress Index. CPRT training program enhanced empathy in adult-child interaction during free play time. Significant increase appeared in parental acceptance level of child's feeling, behavior and autonomy. Most participants showed positive changes on behavior problem perceived by mother and parenting stress. However, one participant had a difficulty to interact with child using empathy reaction skill and showed lower efficacy as a mother and higher parenting stress.
