초록

본 연구의 목적은 초기성인기 내면화된 수치심과 사회불안의 관계에서 거부민감성과 완벽주의적 자기제시의 매개효과를 검증하는 것으로 이를 위해 초기성인기 남녀 400명의 자료를 수집 및 분석하였다. 수집된 자료로 기술통계, 상관분석을 실시하고 구조방정식 모형 및 매개효과를 검증하였고, 독립표본 t-test와 다집단 분석을 통해 남녀 집단 간의 차이가 있는지도 살펴보았다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 내면화된 수치심, 거부민감성, 완벽주의적 자기제시, 사회불안은 모두 유의한 정적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 내면화된 수치심이 사회불안에 미치는 영향에서 거부민감성의 매개효과가 유의했고, 완벽주의적 자기제시는 매개효과가 유의하지 않았다. 셋째, 내면화된 수치심이 사회불안에 미치는 영향에서 거부민감성과 완벽주의적 자기제시는 유의미한 이중매개효과를 가졌다. 넷째, 각 변인의 구조적 관계에서 남녀 집단 차이를 확인하였는데 내면화된 수치심이 완벽주의적 자기제시로 향하는 경로에서 여자 집단보다 남자 집단의 영향이 컸고, 거부민감성이 사회불안으로 향하는 경로에서는 남자 집단보다 여자 집단의 영향이 컸다. 마지막으로 남자 집단의 내면화된 수치심이 사회불안으로 향하는 경로에서 거부민감성과 완벽주의적 자기제시의 개별 매개효과와 이중매개효과가 유의미했고, 여자 집단의 내면화된 수치심이 사회불안으로 향하는 경로에서는 거부민감성만 유의미한 매개효과가 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 연구의 의의와 제한점 및 후속 연구 제언을 논의하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to prove the mediating effect of Rejection Sensitivity(RS) and Perfectionist Self-Presentation(PSP) in the relationship between Internalized Shame(IS) and Social Anxiety(SA) in early adulthood. Data were collected and analyzed from 400 male and female in early adulthood. Descriptive statistical analysis and correlation analysis were performed with the collected data, and the mediating effect of the structural equation model and the research model was confirmed. The difference between male and female groups was confirmed through independent sample t-test and multi-group analysis. The results of the study are as follows. First, IS, RS, PSP, and SA all showed significant positive correlations. Second, the mediating effect of RS was significant in the relationship between IS and SA, and the mediating effect of PSP was not significant. Third, RS and PSP had a significant double mediating effect in the relationship between IS and SA. Fourth, the difference between male and female groups of variables was confirmed. In the path of IS to PSP, the male group was more influenced than the female group, and in the path of RS to SA, the female group was more influenced than the male group. Finally, in the male group, the mediating and dual mediating effects of RS and PSP were significant in the path of IS to SA, and in the female group, the mediating effect of RS was significant in the path of IS to SA. Based on these results, the significance and limitations of the study and subsequent research suggestions were discussed.
