청소년 우울정서에 영향을 미치는 변인 분석

초록

본 연구의 목적은 청소년의 우울정서에 영향을 미치는 변인을 분석하고, 우울정서에 영향을 미치는 부정적 자동사고의 하위유형과 자기효능감의 하위유형을 밝히는데 있었다. 본 연구의 대상은 강원도와 전라북도에서 편의군집 표집한 중학교 1, 2, 3학년에 재학 중인 학생 301명과 고등학교 1, 2, 3학년에 재학 중인 456명으로 총 757명이었다. 우울척도는 조맹제와 김계희(1993)가 번안한 CES-D를 사용하였고, 불안척도는 최진숙과 조수철(1990)이 번안한 RCMAS를 사용하였다. 부정적 자동사고 척도는 오경자와 문혜신(2002)이 번안한 K-CATS를 사용하였고, 자기효능감은 홍혜영(1995)이 번안한 SES를 사용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 불안정서, 부정적 자동사고, 자기효능감, 성별, 연령이 청소년의 우울정서에 영향을 미치었다. 불안정서와 부정적 자동사고의 척도 점수가 높을수록 우울정서의 척도 점수가 높았으나, 자기효능감의 척도 점수가 높을수록 우울정서의 척도 점수는 낮았다. 여학생의 우울정서의 척도점수가 남학생보다 높았으며, 연령이 증가할수록 우울정서의 척도 점수가 높았다. 둘째, 부정적 사고의 하위 요인인 우울인지와 불안인지가 청소년의 우울정서에 영향을 미치었다. 즉 우울인지와 사회적 불안인지의 척도 점수가 높을수록 우울정서의 척도점수가 높았다. 셋째, 자기효능감의 하위 요인인 일반적 효능감과 사회적 효능감 모두 청소년의 우울정서에 영향을 미치었다. 즉 일반효능감과 사회적 효능감의 척도점수가 높을수록 청소년의 우울정서의 척도점수가 낮았다. 후속연구를 위한 제언과 교육현장을 위한 시사점에 대해 논의하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to investigate the variables influencing depressive emotions of adolescents. The subjects were 301 middle school students and 456 high school students. Correlations and multiple regressions were implemented to answer the research questions. The dependent variable was the scores of Center for Epidemiological Studies-Depression Scale(CES-D). The independent variables were the scores of Korean-Revised Children's Manifest Anxiety Scale(RCMAS), Korean-Children's Automatic Thoughts Scale(K-CATS), Self-Efficacy Scale(SES), gender, age, and the level of academic achievement. The results of the study were as follows: (a) anxiety, negative automatic thoughts, self-efficacy, gender, and age had impact on the depressive emotions of adolescents. The higher the scores of anxiety and negative automatic thoughts, the higher the scores of depressive emotions. The higher the scores of self-efficacy, the lower the scores of depressive emotions. The scores of depressive emotions of female adolescents were higher than those of male adolescents. In addition, the older adolescents, the higher the scores of depressive emotions; (b) Two factors of negative automatic thoughts-depression, social anxiety-had impact on the depressive emotions of adolescents. That is, the higher the scores of negative automatic thoughts, the higher the scores of depressive emotions; (c) Both general self-efficacy and social self-efficacy had impact on the depressive emotions of adolescents. That is, the higher the scores of self-efficacy, the lower the scores of depressive emotions.
