아도르노 철학의 수용과 연구에 관한 고찰

국내에 아도르노 철학이 수용된 지도 근 50년이 되었다. 아도르노 철학의 수용사는 크게 ‘연구 준비기’, ‘연구 여명기’, ‘본격 연구기’, ‘연구 확장기’, ‘철학 분야 아도르노 연구 성장기’로 분류할 수 있다. 연구 준비기부터 연구 확장기까지는 모든 학문분과를 망라한 아도르노 연구자들의 연구성과를 기준으로 분류했다. 시기 구분은 철학 분야 연구자 수의 절대 부족을 반영한 것이다. ‘철학 분야 아도르노 연구 성장기’를 독립적으로 분류한 까닭은 2015년 이후 철학 분야 아도르노 연구자 수의 증가와 함께 새로운 연구 경향을 반영한 왕성한 연구 활동이 이루어지고 있기 때문이다. 수용사적 측면에서 볼 때 철학 분야의 2세대 연구자층의 등장은 연구량, 연구 주제, 연구의 질적 수준에서 변곡점 될 가능성이 크다. 여느 철학의 수용사가 그렇듯이 아도르노 철학의 수용과 연구에서도 시간의 축적과 숙성의 과정이 필요하다. 축적과 숙성의 과정에서 원전의 완역, 주요 개념어의 통일을 위한 번역자와 연구자 사이의 논의, 세부 주제연구 천착, 심화연구의 촉매제로써 연구자 사이의 긴장과 협력, 아도르노 철학의 대중적 확산 등이 요구된다.
Abstract
It has been nearly 50 years since Adornoian philosophy was introduced to Korea, and the history of its reception as a field of research can be largely classified into phases of preparation, dawning, full-scale, expansion, and growth. based on the outputs of Adorno researchers across all academic divisions. The classification of each period reflects an absolute lack in the number of researchers in the field of philosophy. The most recent period of growth in the study of Adornoian philosophy was classified according to active research activities and reflects new trends and an increase in the number of Adorno researchers since 2015. From a historical perspective, the emergence of second-generation researchers is highly likely to be a point of inflection in terms of volume, subject, and quality of the research conducted. As is the case for any philosophy, the accumulation of time and the development of appropriate processes are necessary for the advanced reception of and research into Adorno’s philosophy. During this period, the complete translation of original texts, discussion between the translators and researchers for the unification of major conceptual terms, the detailed exploration of research topics, tension and cooperation among researchers as catalysts for intensive research, and the popular spread of Adorno’s philosophy are required.
