이 글의 주목적은 공간과 감각의 관계에 대한 철학적 해명이존재론의 근거가 되어야 함을 밝히는 것이다. 이 글의 논지는 다음과 같이요약될 수 있다. 1. 감각이란 그 시원적 순간에서는 본래적 존재사건으로서 이해되어야 한다. 이는 감각이 현존재로 하여금 존재와의 선험⋅초월적 관계 속에서 실존하게 할 그 존재론적 근거임을 뜻한다. 2. 존재론적으로 공간은 존재의 정량화 가능성의 현시로서 이해되어야 한다. 이러한 현시는 수의 초월적 본질에 대한 현존재의 자각에 기초해 있다. 3. 하지만 존재의 정량화 가능성은 존재가 수적 비례관계로 환원될 수 있음을 뜻하지 않는다. 경험적 의미의 수는 오직 감각의 강도만을 나타내는바, 감각의 강도에 의해 드러나는 것은 바로 존재의 근원적 고유함인 것이다.
Abstract
The main purpose of this paper is to demonstrate that Heidegger’s ontology should be based on an philosophical analysis of the relationship between space and sensation. My argument can be summarized as follows: 1. Sensation in its primordial moment should be understood as the original enowning of Being, which means that sensation is the ontological ground for Dasein to exist in its transcendental relation with Being. 2. Ontologically Space is to be understood as the revelation of quantifiability of Being. This revelation is based on Dasein’s insight into the transcendent nature of number. 3. The quantifiability of Being, however, does not mean that Being is to be reduced to a proportional relation of numbers. Numbers known in the world of experience manifests only the intensity of sensation which reveals the fundamental ownedness of Being.
