사랑의 가능근거로서의 염려(Sorge)와 현존재분석 : 메다드 보스의 ‘코블링 박사’ 사례를 중심으로

Abstract

In this article, We will discuss Heidegger's claim that “Care(Sorge)” is not different from love, and that love can also be understood more fundamentally and comprehensively when it is defined by fundamental ontology. To this end, Chapter 2 first examines Binswanger's critique of Heidegger's concept of Care. Binswanger argues that Heidegger's Care is limited to an individualized concern for one's own existence, and that Heidegger is missing the importance of love in the process of acquiring Authenticity, and emphasizes that the essence of Dasein is love, not Care. However, from the viewpoint of Heidegger, Binswanger's argument is a result of a misunderstanding of Care and again a result of “the forgetfulness of Being”. In Chapter 3, we examine the analytic understanding of the phenomenon of love through the case of Dr. Cobling who treated by Medard Boss. Boss tried to practice Daseinsanalysis at the clinical coalface after Binswanger. Through the encounter with Dr. Cobling, Boss gains insight that Dasein will feel love when the possibility of a new relationship is revealed through the relationship with someone. Here, ‘the possibility of a new relationship’ corresponds to the authentic possibility of Being mentioned in Heidegger. Finally, in chapter 4, we will clarify the relationship between Care and “understanding of Being”, thereby explaining why Care that defined by fundamental ontology is love, and why love defined by fundamental ontology can be understood much deeper and wider. Basically, Care includes its relations with oneself, the world, and the beings in the world, and in order to acquire the authenticity, Dasein should care oneself and also other beings, as Dasein is already always in the relationship with other beings as the Being-in-the-world. Love is possible in this authentic relationship, and the essence of love can be understood when it is based on Care.
