초록
Founded in early the seventh century in Buyeo, the Buseosan Temple Site is known to consist of middle gate- wooden tower -Buddhist Sanctuary connected as the major axis of the south and north sides. In particular, this temple site was assumed as the venue to pray for well-being and peace of the Baekje Royal Palace, considering this venue took on 'the auditorium-unidentified speciality', 'the distance close to the Baekje Royal Palace' and 'the traits or roles' as the Buseosan Castle. This temple site was identified as the architectural pattern difficult to become found in any other flatland-formed buddhist temples, since this site was built with halfway of mountains being unearthed and piled up with mud. A great of 'retaining wall-terraced entrance or exit facility', 'terraced-building layout' and 'convex (凸 -shaped) retaining wall design' was the new architectural pattern unidentified in any other Baekje temple sites throughout the mid and end of the sixth century. But, it is estimated that there might be any auditorium in the Buseosan Temple, taking into allowance of 'corridor' built in the east and south sides, 'terraced-flat surface' in the rear of the Buddhist Sanctuary and, 'Buddhist temple layout' in the Baekje temple unearthed around Buyeo and Iksan.
