국가무형유산의 개인 춤종목 보유자의 관점을 통한 제도운영 개선방안 연구

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the status of transmission by holders of individual dance items of the National Intangible Heritage of Korea and to suggest directions for preserving and transmitting traditional dance. Research Method: This study collected the opinions of holders of national cultural heritage individual dances and traditional education instructors through in-depth interviews, analyzed the content, and discussed them. Research result: As a result of deriving major tasks and improvement measures related to the transmission of traditional dance, the problems in the process of transmission of traditional dance are as follows. First, in the process of transmitting traditional dance, it is important to educate not only the dance technique but also the spiritual meaning and cultural background contained within it. Second, in the process of transmitting traditional dance, complex untitled titles emerged due to the holder's lack of time and stamina, institutional restrictions, lack of trainees, lack of public interest, and holder gap issues. Third, problems with the current national intangible cultural heritage evaluation method include lack of transparency and communication, inappropriate time allocation, problems with judges' capabilities, and a rigid evaluation atmosphere. Conclusion: Methods to improve the problems revealed in the results are as follows. Multifaceted efforts are needed to accommodate changes appropriate to the times, increase transparency in the evaluation process, strengthen the capabilities of judges, and improve the evaluation environment.
