<천대별곡>과 <봉산곡>의 선후 문제와 안빈낙도의 형상화

Abstract

This paper attempts to elucidate the structure and the contents of <Choeondaebyeolgok> that is original or closer to the original work by examining and comparing the previous studies on <Cheondaebyeolgok> and <Bongsangok>. <Cheondaebyeolgok>’s different versions, structure and its contents were first analyzed by Hong Jaehyu, however the subsequent studies have been mainly analyzed the later work <Bongsangok>. It is clear that <Cheondaebyeonlgok> is closer to the original version or the earliest transcribed version among the existing four different versions from the notion of before-and-after timing, appropriateness of the words using and nature of the rhythm. Therefore, it is most reasonable to divide <Cheondaebyeonlgok> into the introduction, development, turn, and conclusion according to the development methodology and subsequently subdivide into 8 paragraphs according to the theme of the song which describes the beautiful scenery of hermit, joyful daily lifestyle and the commitment on the sudden call from the state. However, <Cheondaebyeolgok> intensively reveals the desire of return through the continuation of the narrative and the conclusion structure and the repetition of the words, and the image of Chae Deukgi is embodied remarkably who is enjoying and managing the simple lifestyle through the first half of the song. Particularly, Chae Deukgi created the name of 28 places around the Gyeongcheondae region in order to express his will to return to nature or for the quest of learning. Therefore, the daily lifestyle of a hermit which is described by Chae Deukgi in <Cheondaebyeolgok> can be said to be an expression of excitement for enjoying nature and realizing the providence of the universe as well as a process of exploration for Confucianism. When we look through this way, the nature described in <Cheondaebyeolgok> is a space of anbinnakdo-the realm of comfortable and pleasure in the midst of poverty- which leads a simple life and achieves Cengdian’s lifestyle, and thus <Cheondaebyeolgok> can be interpret as a work that expresses the sadness of having to leave the space of anbinnakdo-the realm of comfortable and pleasure in the midst of poverty- and the desire for a comeback.
