무역품으로서 타이(Thai) 흑유(黑釉) 항아리에 대한 연구

타이도자기는 14세기 후반부터 무역품으로서 인근의 동남아시아를 비롯하여 동아시아 및 서아시아에 수출되어 명대 해금정책으로 중국 무역도자기의 유통이 원활하게 이루어지지 않을 때 중국도자기의 대용으로 사용된다. 타이 흑유항아리는 무역도자기로서 동남아시아 및 동아시아의 유적에서 손쉽게 확인할 수 있다. 이 항아리는 14세기 후반 내지 15세기 전반부터 18세기 침몰선까지 약 300여년 동안 아시아 전역의 침몰선과 유적에서 확인되고 중국 및 동남아시아의 무역이 활성화되는 16세기후반 무역품의 저장용기로서 최성기를 구가한다. 15세기의 타이 흑유항아리는 류큐(현 오키나와) 나하시 슈리조(首里城) 유적에서 술병으로 사용된 것을 확인할 수 있다. 16세기 타이 흑유항아리는 전반의 공백기를 거쳐 중엽과 후반에 많은 양이 침몰선과 유적에서 확인된다.
Abstract
Thai Ceramics from the !4th century were exported to the near Southeast Asia such as Vietnam and the Philippines and used as substitute of Chinese Ceramics for 100 years called Ming Ban Period(明代海禁, from the late 14th century to the late 15th century). The Balck Glazed Jar of Thai as a Trade Ceramics was excavated in the relics of South-East Asia, West Asia and East Asia. This Jar can be seen for 300 years from the 15th century and 18th century) in the relics and Wreckship(Pandanan and San Diego Wreckship of the philippines and Ko Sichang Wreckship of Thai and so on) in Southeast Asia. The Black Glazed Jar of Thai in the 15th century was used as a Drinking Bottle in the Ryukyu(Now Okinawa of Japan) and that of the 16th century was producted a lot of for the Gunpowder for Gun and Cannon in Sakai of Japan. When 17th century, The produck of Black Glazed Jar of Thai was declined and its qualty was bad.
