가구조사에서 층화정보를 이용한 사후가중치 보정에 관한 연구: 모의실험을 중심으로

표본 조사에서는 정확한 모수 추정을 위해 층화추출법이 널리 사용되고 있다. 층화 추출법의 성패를 좌우하는 것은 표본틀에 포함된 층화정보의 양이다. 표본설계 당시에 층화를 위한 충분한 정보가 없는 경우에는 이중추출법(double sampling, two-phase sampling)을 이용하여 정보를 얻을 수 있다 . 반면 실사 후에 층화와 관련된 추가 정보가 얻어진다면 사후가중치 보정을 이용하여 모수 추정의 정확성을 향상시킨다. 이와 같이 층화추출에서 층화변수와 관련된 정보는 추정의 정확성에 큰 영향을 미친다. 본 논문에서는 가구조사(household survey)에서 층화추출법을 사용할 때 표본틀에 포함된 층화정보의 사용 방법에 관하여 연구하였으며 모의실험을 통해 인구 가중치를 사용할 때 표본설계 당시에 얻어진 가구 가중치를 적용한 경우와 적용하지 않은 경우의 결과를 비교하였다. 또한 가구 정보 없이 추가로 사람 조사가 보완조사로 이루어진 경우에서의 가중치 적용 방법을 설명하고 모의실험을 통해 각 방법의 성능을 비교하였다.
Abstract
In sample survey, stratified sampling is widely used for accurate parameter estimation. It is the amount of information contained in the sampling frame that determines the success or failure of the stratified sampling method. If there is not enough information for stratification at the time of sampling design, information can be obtained using double sampling (two-phase sampling). On the other hand, if additional information related to stratification is obtained after the survey, post weight adjustment is used to improve the accuracy of the parameter estimation. In this way, information related to stratification variables in stratified sampling has a great influence on the accuracy of estimation. In this paper, we investigate the use of information for stratification contained in the sampling frame when using stratified sampling in household survey. Simulation results were used to compare the results of applying the existing household weights when using person weights at the time of sample design. In addition, we applied the weight adjustment method in the case where the supplementary survey was made by the additional individual survey without household information, and compared the performance of each method through simulation.
