연구 목적: 본 연구는 유튜브 채널을 활용한 한국어 음독 학습에 중점을 두고 제작 원리를 설정한 후 운영을 통해 개선점 및 방향성을 논의하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 방법: 본 연구는 유튜브 매체의 특성과 선행 연구에서의 웹 기반 수업 제작 원리 중 음독 채널 수업의 제작 원리를 추출하였다. 유튜브 매체의 특성에서 접근의 용이성을, 선행 연구에서 학습자 참여형, 내용의 실제성을 추출하였다. 그리고 무엇보다 음독 채널의 학습적 효과를 기대해 제작 원리로 종합적 기능 교육을 포함하였다. 이 네 가지 제작 원리를 적용하여 채널을 개발하고 영상을 직접 제작하였다. 결 론: 유튜브를 활용한 한국어 교육에 관한 대부분의 선행 연구는 이미 운영 중인 채널을 분석하는 데 중점을 두고 있다. 반면, 본 연구는 실제 유튜브 채널을 개설하여 영상을 제작하여 실제 운영한 사례를 토대로 연구를 진행한다는 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다. 또한 운영 후에는 학습자 반응 및 교사 성찰을 통해 개선점을 분석하여 유튜브 기반 한국어 교육의 방향성을 모색하였다.
Abstract
Objectives: This study aims to establish principles for the creation of a YouTube channel focused on Korean pronunciation learning, explore the operational aspects, and discuss improvements and directions through its execution. Methods: Drawing on principles from web-based course development, characteristics of YouTube media, and previous studies on web-based lessons, this study emphasizes accessibility in YouTube media. It also incorporates aspects of learner participation and content authenticity. Above all, it integrates comprehensive functional education principles to anticipate the pedagogical effects of the pronunciation channel. Applying these four principles, the channel was developed, and videos were directly produced. Conclusions: Unlike most previous studies that analyze existing channels, this research is significant in that it establishes and operates an actual YouTube channel, providing a case study based on real operational experiences. Furthermore, post-operation analysis involved examining learner responses and teacher reflections to identify areas for improvement, contributing to the exploration of the direction of YouTube-based Korean language education.
