정신전력 기고문의 토픽모델링 적용 탐색적 연구 - 국방일보 오피니언 분석을 중심으로 -

본 연구는 정신전력과 관련된 2000년대와 2010년대 국방일보 기고문을 대상으로 텍스트 빈도분석과 LDA 토픽모델링으로 비교했다. 먼저 대량의 기고문에 대해 텍스트 분석방법으로 명사 단어의 상위출현 빈도를 확인했다. 분석 결과 우선 ‘교육’ 단어의 사용이 증가했다. 또 정신전력 강화의 목적이 ‘전투’와 ‘임무’에 있음이 분명해졌다. 공동체 지향적 단어와 정서적 단어의 사용 역시 늘었다. 이어 LDA 토픽모델링을 사용해 시대별 7개 토픽을 추출해 비교했다. 분석 결과 ‘전투훈련’ 토픽은 여전히 유효한 주제였다. 그러나 교육, 안보와 군인정신, 그리고 가족 관련 토픽에서 사용되는 단어는 변화가 있었다. 교육 관련 토픽은 정신전력 교육에서 시민적 가치를 표현하는 단어가 많이 사용되었다. 안보와 군인정신 관련 토픽에 사용되는 단어는 과거보다 대상과 목표를 분명히 표현했다. 가족 관련 토픽에서는 정서적 단어의 사용이 늘었다. 이러한 변화는 정신전력에 대한 생각과 관점이 어떻게 표현되고 있으며, 향후 정신전력 연구가 나아갈 방향에 대해 시사점을 제공한다.
Abstract
This study compared opinion articles in the 2000s and 2010s of the Kookbangilbo related to mental force enhancement with text frequency analysis and LDA Topic Modeling. First, We checked the noun words that appearance frequencies as a method of text analysis. First of all, the use of the word 'education' increased. It has also become clear that the purpose of strengthening mental force enhancement in "battle" and "mission." The use of community-oriented and emotional words has also increased. It then used LDA Topic Modeling to extract by every decade and compare seven topics. The analysis found that the "battle training" topic was still a valid topic. But the words used in education, security and soldier spirit, and family-related topics have changed. Education-related topics have many words used to express civil values in mental power education. The words used in topics related to security and soldier spirit clearly expressed targets and goals more than in the past. The use of emotional words has increased in family topics. These changes tell us how thoughts and perspectives on force enhancement are expressed. It also provides implications for the future direction of mental force enhancement research.
